splashed---Welcome to a new month. Sagwa does not have claws--maybe it is just the breed but they are real heavy and more like talons than claws. He never needed his nail clipped until I moved here--even though he is an indoor cat he was allowed down cellar and out to the front porche which had cement floors and he naturally wore the claws down scratching across them.Now unless he was allowed out on the balcony all the time he has to get the nails clipped.(seems to depend on the breed too I think as there is quite a few cats I know that don't require a groomer) I think it will be a quiet Sunday for us of watching curling,maybe golf(womens is on too) and possibly anything else I find. Yes will be watching tv a lot soon--Olympis start I think the 8th --so nothing will be done--they do usually show all the sports with this country in them on a delayed . Have a good  Sunday

Hello Ed, TY for another Mallard and PD. Lynne messaged me today and she is not arriving until Tuesday. She is driving down in her bus that is really well set up. Kitchen, eating area and big bedroom at the back. There is also a toilet. She will stay in that although I always invite her to stay in my home. She will also arrive with her 3 cats. So my home will be full of 5 cats. Hmmmmm!  Anyway I am looking forward to her stay. HaHa Just don't want or need another cat left here. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. So it was Evelyn's page that we met on. I still write to her. So I guess that Evelyn and I have also been friends for a long time. Chatting to Mum about you today and how long we have known each other. "And you have never met?" she asked. Then I told her that we share so much and really are friends. Now I must remind Evelyn how long we have known each other. Mum didn't go to Bocce yesterday as most of the group were staying away due to the supposed heat that didn't happen. Once again I came home with a bag of cd's for the Op shop. I try not to think too hard about what Mum is doing re. clearing. During my previous visit 2 weeks ago we were speaking about something that will happen later in the year. Mum said, "If I am still here." That alarmed me as I have never heard her saying something like that before. Naturally at her age that is a consideration.

Morning splash-- It is once again sunny and cold but I will not complain unless I have to go out. I should make my 2 min venture into the great white outdoors and get the garbage down at least. We shall see as it always seems windy down there and I don't need to fight that but will have to try as no one is going to be here except me for the job. Sagwa is a much happier cat now that I am not yelling at him all the time to not put his paws up on my leg and I don't think he liked clicking across the floor all the time. It was a very quick appointment this time but he did get a little bit of a pamper and a treat. Have a good Sat.

Hello Ed I was writing to you and pressed the wrong button. Lost it all.Mum played Boccee today. Lynne may be here for a week or so. We may get to dance. You asked me how I got onto F/L. I think that it was due to a friend of Lynne's? It was 16 years ago now. I do recall one night when I saw a message from Bonnie and she was worried about a storm as she was on her own. I wrote back and we started writing to each other as we found common ground. I think I got to know you through Bonnie? Sadly Bonnie seems to have past. I do enjoy our chats. We have shared so much over the years and may it well long continue. Even though I have never acually met you, I consider you a dear friend of mine. Now once again sitting outside listening to the surf the sky is turning red. Red sky at night, shepherd's delight. I will soon be in bed. Enjoy your day. And thank you for being my friend.

Hello ED, TY for the mouse. I didn't get to Mum's today as I was a bit slow starting. That usually happens after working at the Op shop. Mum is OK with me coming tomorrow. I decided that I really need to prepare for Lynne's arrival on Monday so I have been cleaning my kitchen stove top and other chores. I am glad that I did not grow up in PNG as I would have seriously missed my wonderful extended family. My Grandparents in particular. And I would never have met Lynne, David or Brian. I am happy with how my life turned out. Now I will go and cut Agapanther flowers from my drive way getting ready for Lynne's bus. Enjoy your new day.
