Morning splash-- It is cloudy and 0 this morning so really don't know what we will get today--not a problem as It is a stay in weekend for me. Kevin is going down to his brothers to finish grinding up the last deer and Kristine is still trying to catch up from Christmas(guess that is what happpens when you have kids on the go around you.) Now you know snooker is not your game--at least not with those people. Some day you may learn that the beers catch up to you--maybe the warm beer does not help with fuzzy heads.  The guy was up and checked my bathroom ceiling-- the opinion is that the caulking is gone from the bathtub above me and they are not careful when they shower-hence a lot of water on the floor which seeps under the tub and then down to my ceiling.  Have a good day.

Hello Ed, Victoria is still burning. My late cousin's daughter lost her house. Arja and family may return here as they cannot get back to their home near Mansfield due to fire threat and road blocks. Much cooler here at the beach however strong winds. Today a smoke haze came over Rye from the other side of the bay. Re. snooker or pool, I loved playing that. I hope that you enjoyed it.

Good morning splash-- white mouse ty I was in a rush with the garden yesterday first thing in the morning as I wanted to go to the bank and maybe get a little wander and poke in some stores. It turned into a nice sunny day and I got to browse. Usually we go to a store and I better know exactly what I am after because most of the time  its in and out. Wander around and got a few things I could need(all the Christmas stuff left was on half price)Also when I went to the grocery store  there managed to find a beef roast that was not going to mortgage my grandkids. Today is is get the garbage down and then try to do a little clean up around here. Wed after tea I went to the office and they are going to look into my heating problem--I think they are trying to work on things but so many problems were left  behind. We should have our storage lockers back in a week or so--they had to install a sprinkler system in them and then there is the inspections.I hope you can get your visa card straight and have a good day.

Hello Ed, I cannot smell the smoke and the sky is grey. I think that the wind from the south pushes the smoke away. Sarah told me that the cars in Mansfield are covered in soot. They are safe there as they live in town. I contacted a few dear teaching friends and they have evacuated to Mansfield. I think that I REALLY need to go to bed now and keep listening to the radio re. fire alerts. Not for me. All of my friends and family. Good Night

Hello Ed, TY for the Peace Dove. Lynne evacuated today and is now with her daughter in Melbourne. The fires are getting bigger and creating their own lightning which triggers more fires. 40 degrees celsius here.

Hello ED, TY for the mouse. I loved the post that you sent to me re friends. It is coll here this evening, the cats are enjoying being outside without dealing with dogs. They will have to be inside all day tomorrow if the temps go up to 40. I have been doing most of my op shop duties. Missed last Friday as Arja was arriving. PLanning to attend tomorrow despite the heat. We do have A/C there. Enjoy your day.
