Splashed---It looks dull out there but dry still. I don't know when the freezing rain is to begin but the temperature is in that danger zone of 0. Got everything done at the hospital and all went smoothly. Must have been tired from all the excitment because I slept until almost 9 this mornng which means I better find a fast go ahead gear if I want to have things done. Glad to hear all went well with the trolley check and they arn't carting you off. Have a good day -I will be staying in especially if we get hit with the freezing rain.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse and Ruby seed. I have almost completed reshelving the Cd's. I put a few copied ones into recyling. Didn't even bother looking at the titles. OUT! A curious thing happened today. During the day I often leave a door open fot the cats. Earlier when I went inside I saw feathers through my house and wondered if one of the cats had caught a bird and some how sneaked it past me. Vaccumed up the feathers and looked for a body. Nothing. Strange. Then as I was finishing dinner I glanced up to a curtain rail and saw a small bird. Then the fun began as I tried to shoo it out. Opened up my front door and worried about the cats escaping as it was now dark. Naturally they went out. I used a broom to try and shoo the bird out. It flew into my kitchen area and I tried to capture it with a tea towel. Missed and it flew back into the longe room. All open plan. Mungo came back inside and joined my chase. Happily my next attempt with the tea towel as successful. I caught it and told it was silly to fly into a house of cats. I gently placed it outside away from the house. It flew off happily. Cats inside, bird outside. Enjoy your day.

Hello ED, I am not sure about what your op shop takes. I know my shop has a section for evening wear and we also sell curtains. I am going through my cd's today and putting them into the newly repaired shelves. I hope that I can part with some of them. Enjoy your day.

splashed--We finally have sun although I think it is still quite cool but sunny and dry is fine with me. I never really did participate in April fools but yes they used to be a big thing now I guess their nose is in their phone and the really don't participate in anything around them.No haven't seen Rory's plane but with the kind of money they get and having to go back and forth across the Atlantic I am not surprised. Got to get busy here as the afternoon will be taken up wandering around the hospital between appointments today.  Have a good day

Hello Ed, ty or the mouse and PD. I do not have a natural flair for DIY. It was sheer bloody minded determination. Once I start on a project I have to see it finished. Regarding April Fool's Day. I have always enjoyed it. iloved tricking my students and then revealing at miday that I had tricked them. I think that my best one was telling them that scientists had invented a way of feeding cows so that they produced flavoured milk such as chocolate etc. I revealed the truth at midday. The children loved it. Now after a big day for me, the cats are in, I am taking a moment  to listen to the surf as I write to you and I am looking forward to bed and perhaps finishing the book. Hellon ED, I am quite happy with my efforts today. I decided to fix a cd shelving that Brian made years ago. Since my move from Thornbury it has been sitting outside under the porch. After brushing off the cobwebs I armed myself with hammer and nails. Dear Brian may have been a good artist and aeronautical engineer however not a good carpenter. I think that I have fixed it solidly and now it is in my lounge room and I am starting to fill it with cd's. And yes I still listen to them. Enjoy your day.
