Good morning splash-- white mouse ty I was in a rush with the garden yesterday first thing in the morning as I wanted to go to the bank and maybe get a little wander and poke in some stores. It turned into a nice sunny day and I got to browse. Usually we go to a store and I better know exactly what I am after because most of the time  its in and out. Wander around and got a few things I could need(all the Christmas stuff left was on half price)Also when I went to the grocery store  there managed to find a beef roast that was not going to mortgage my grandkids. Today is is get the garbage down and then try to do a little clean up around here. Wed after tea I went to the office and they are going to look into my heating problem--I think they are trying to work on things but so many problems were left  behind. We should have our storage lockers back in a week or so--they had to install a sprinkler system in them and then there is the inspections.I hope you can get your visa card straight and have a good day.

Hello Ed, I cannot smell the smoke and the sky is grey. I think that the wind from the south pushes the smoke away. Sarah told me that the cars in Mansfield are covered in soot. They are safe there as they live in town. I contacted a few dear teaching friends and they have evacuated to Mansfield. I think that I REALLY need to go to bed now and keep listening to the radio re. fire alerts. Not for me. All of my friends and family. Good Night

Hello Ed, TY for the Peace Dove. Lynne evacuated today and is now with her daughter in Melbourne. The fires are getting bigger and creating their own lightning which triggers more fires. 40 degrees celsius here.

Hello ED, TY for the mouse. I loved the post that you sent to me re friends. It is coll here this evening, the cats are enjoying being outside without dealing with dogs. They will have to be inside all day tomorrow if the temps go up to 40. I have been doing most of my op shop duties. Missed last Friday as Arja was arriving. PLanning to attend tomorrow despite the heat. We do have A/C there. Enjoy your day.

Hello ED, TY for the mouse. Arja and family have now left. Victoria is on fire now. Fires close to where Lynne lives, also approaching where Arja lives although she will not be there. Sarah is safe in the town of Mansfield although fires close. I know so many people living where the fires are or approaching but I cannot call all of them. Tomorrow it will be 40 degrees.

Morning splash--pair of lovebirds  and sunlight seed tyIt is 0 and cloudy this morning so we could get anything(might be nice if it was sunshine) Today I have a nurse and tea so all inside which is good. We have a shortage of salt now this year so Old Man Winter is winning seen as they can only plow to keep roads open and people are now complaining that their street did not get plowed. I am definately not a skier(don't like cold) and the closest I came to it was to try some crosscountry skis in our back yard--think on trip down the hill cured any thoughts of more. Did do a lot of skating but there again don't like cold so it was just about all inside on arena ice. Have a good day and if you go take down decoration be careful!!!

Hello ED, I have been complaining that we haven't had Summer here and now it is here in full force. High 30's. Melbourne and Mansfield in the 40's. Arja and family are at the boat shed / beach at the moment. I am hiding inside with the A/C on. Arja's birthday today. Early dinner and then they my go to the Carnival in Rye. They leave tomorrow Then no guests until Sarah and family return for the Australia Day weekend. Lynne was hoping to come in between however she heard it in my voice that I needed a break. She will come in Feb. Enjoy your day.
