Morning splash--Very chilly start to the week but sunny and -2. There was very little on sports wise yesterday that I could watch so ended up watching the end of golf-- it seemed like it really dragged and no one could quite catch Spaun. Just hope the Masters is a little more lively and they leave some of the commentators at home.Kevin I think managed to go to work this morning as last night he said he just had the cough but wasn't sure how long his energy would last. If your invited someplace for dinner then the conversation should be there afterwards but if your invited for some big sporting event then it would be the tv on.Have a good day enjoy your meander to town.

Hello Ed, my head is nodding. I got your messages. You asked me about tea. I only have a cuppa when I work at the Op shop just to be sociable. I am always content with my morning cup of good coffee. Then it is usually water for me. Now and again I enjoy a herbal tea. I googled Camp Eureka and enjoyed looking at the site. Many changes since I was last there. Little known fact, when I first went there with the school family camp I was sitting at the river and chatting with the lady who arranged the camp and she said to me,"Dianne have you ever considered teaching?" She, Caroline,  planted the seed. I will always remember that conversation. Now after my usual busy Monday I have fed myself with a Frozen dinner, Chicken Kiev, always yummy. Cats inside long ago as no more daylight saving and I will soon be in bed with a book. Enjoy your day.

Hello ED, like you I don't like it when people sit glued to their phones. The meal sounds wonderful. Yorkshire Pudding , I haven't had that for years! No I never apologised to Chris re. getting Wrestling banned. I had my usual busy Monday starting with The Monday Morning Coffee Club. Always enjoyable! I was sitting in the middle of the tables so my attention was tuning into to both conversations at either end. Then I heard Camp Eureka being mentioned. My ears pricked up. Camp Eureka was started by the Communist Party for its youth. Set in wonderful bushland in the hills. It was run like a commune but for holidays. I discovered it when Sarah and Hope first started at a Steiner school in Melbourne and a number of parents arranged a school family camp there. I fell in love with the place and over the years became involved with the running of it. It was no longer part of the Communist Party. I was never a communist, despite my extensive reading re. the Party, but certainly a Socialist. I beamed and said, "Camp Eureka! I know it well."  and briefly told them about my involvement. splashed-- Happy Easter-- It is a dull cloudy day but so far dry.I am sure Tracey know that it is not easy for you to have the cats anymore.Hope your easter goes smoothly and you can enjoy yourself--sometimes other peoples assessment is not what you might see, Yes Kevin is under the weather--Thursday night before he left he thought it felt like he was coming down with a cold,yep--Fri morning it was full blown so he has just said to heck with it and is sleeping a good amount,eating and pushing the medicine into himself in  hopes he can get the worst of it over before work tomorrow. He thinks he got it at the funeral and now I just got to hope that I can miss it. I am going to cook a sort of easter dinner but it is gong to be things I like, salad, homemade stove top stuffing,chicken breast and sweet potatoes and I haven't decided on dessert yet but probably the strawberry short cake. and very little leftovers except maybe enough chicken for one loaded sandwich. Hello ED, TY for the Bee Eater, PD and Amber seed. Haha Ed, TY for sending the photos however I will not try to open them. I actually do not like boxing and when I was a little girl I called it punching. And another funny story, my younger brother loved watching the wrestling on a Saturday. If I walked into the room and saw it I would start crying. So much to my brother's annoyance it was banned viewing. Then many years later I found out that it was all theatrical and no one was hurt! I will soon be in bed with a book. Enjoy your cat free day.
