Hello Ed,  It seems we were at each other's gate a few minutes ago. I hope that you can locate the hearing aids. Enjoy your trip into town and the coffee! TTFN

Hello Ed, that is a good idea to have your main meal at lunch time. Did it work? Not sure what has happened to Evelyn? Yes today is one of my busiest and happiest days. Re. the Monday Morning Coffee Club, inside is a small shop that sells organic veggies and groceries. No room to sit inside.  As we all mostly walk there we dress for the occaision. Frank, the owner, provides blankets for customers who want to sit and drink their coffee outside. As usual there was was a lot of laughter and good conversations. Then another enjoyable afternoon working at the oppie. Well apart from one sad thing. When I arrived 2 of the ladies were excited to show me many really old books that had earlier been donated by a book collecter. They couldn't wait for me to arrive. Sadly the books were full of what collectors and Librarians know as book cancer. I had to discard them because they cannot touch other books as the mould spreads even to new books. Did you know that? I taught them how to know the signs. Apart from that we all had a great afternoon together. Now night has fallen as it does early here going into Winter. My cats are waiting to be fed and I will soon reheat my leftovers from last night.Enjoy your new day!

Morning splash-- It is a beautiful sunny day,a little cool but should warm up. Its mothers day here today so have heard from Scott and Kevin yesterday and will be off with Kristine shortly to get the few things I need and want from the grocery store. After that I will retire to the quiet of home as I really don't have patience for all the nonsense in the grocery store ,like people leaving their carts in the middle of an aisle while they wander looking for whatever,or the letting the kids run wild all over the store.I never wear my hearing aides to bed but I know a lot of people who have lost them in bed, mine come out and get plugged in ,in their own little charge box ,so hopefully I can continue to keep that up. Sounds like you have a treasure hunt on your hands, the case of the missing hearing aides. I hope you can find them and it sounds like things are starting to really get a little bit troublesome and you are the only one to be caring and doing for Sandra, Have a good Sunday.

Hello Ed, I guess that we were at each others farm gate. I am about to snuggle down and read a book. A much lighter read. 'The Tea Ladies of St Jude's Hospital' by Joanna Nell. I have really enjoyed 2 other books that she wrote. 'The Single Ladies of Jacaranda Retirement Village' (I LOVED that book) and also 'The Great Escape from Woodlands Nursing Home.'  Good night ED!

Hello Ed TY or another Mallard! That is strange about Sandra's missing hearing aid. Did the Hair dresser notice if she had it in? They surely would have. I guess that you have checked her bedroom and around the chair that she sits in knitting? Was there a loud noise the other day that could have caused her to remove it? I hope that you find it soon. Now I will soon be in bed to read a lighter book. Good Luck.

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. Mum called me an hour ago and she was perfectly fine about my non appearance. In fact she told me that is was all overwhelming as it was also my brother's wife's birthday celebration and there were many people there. Mum and I have settled on Wednesday at her unit for my visit. At least I know how to get there despite the detours. I just head towards the signs that say Dandenong and once there I can work it out. Hello Ed, yes I finished the Dark Wild Dark Shore. I highly reccommend it! I didn't get to Cranbourne today as I was so confused by the detours. I really must get my phone set up on the dashboard so that I can read directions. Mum will have been kept busy by all of the others. I know that she was miffed by me not getting there. I could hear it in her voice. Mum has never driven a car. Oh well I will much prefer a quiet time with her during the week at her unit. Hopefully she will forgive me. In the meantime I was home for a video call from Shannon and his family and Hope also called me.

Good morning splash--It is bright this morning but no sun and the good part -no rain. I was awake at 3 for an hour or so but did manage to get back to sleep and then slept until 8:30 so hopefully I will make it through the day. Glad you have everything under control there, you sounded a bit frazzled so wondered if it was getting to be a full time job. I may go shopping for a few things with daughter tomorrow(Big shop will be next weekend with Kevin as he is able to carry all my goodies up to the apartment) Its nice you can get to see Jake play and you even have a ride so you are all good to go. A few little thing needing done around here then thats it for the weekend.Talked to Kevin and the rest of them yesterday and I don't think he is ready to get out of the bush yet--will go home tomorrow but he has all the stuff to get ready for back to work, no more playing with the turkeys!!! Golf is rather flat--no big enthusiasm on anyones part --so I been watch other things. Have a good day and enjoy yourself

Hello Ed, my plan is to join the family for a late lunch in Cranbourne. Bit nervous about the detours I will have to make due to major road works. I will soon be in bed to finish reading The Dark Shore. It has gripped me. Enjoy your day.
