I wonder if Tracey gets up during the night to feed that greedy cat?  I had to train Mindy to stop waking me in the middle of the night to go out. It took a bit of time however I persisted. I won. Perhaps if Sandra only gives the treat in a certain bowl and not carry them with her giving them freely? I am sure that Sandra wants the cat to feel comfortable and cats being cats will take advantage of that. Like you I loved that book.  I made a mini roast this evening and will have leftovers for the next few days. Now it is bedtime for me. I have just started another Osman book about the Thursday Murder Club and already finding it humorous. Enjoy your cooler day.

Hello ED, sorry that the cake stall did not do well and now you have more cake. Perhaps take some to the Charity store tomorrow? Fairly sure the staff will love it and love you. Rainy day here so I am working in my Library going through drawers and bookshelves to see what else I can part with. You asked earlier did Brian make his own frames. He made many of them out of wood. The far too heavy ones. He also had many framed at a framers. Much lighter. Enjoy your day with your visitors.

splashed--If this heat wave continues I will be watching tv early in the morning---it is 23 and muggy at 8am So shut everything up and the only thing to watch id tv, I have been watching the women and yesterday we caught some of the seniors and the other PGA event. I am glad I got most all the chores caught up yesterday as it seems none to be done today.I guess you are in for a fun week of sleep getting interrupted! Hello Ed, ypu never bore me. I enjoy your messages. Re cats and toys, Mungo stopped playing with his toys years ago. I guess like children they grow out of them. And scratching posts. Both Mungo and Mindy prefer scratching on the trees outside. They generally ignore my scratching post and prefer my lounge chairs when they want to tell me that they really want to go outside. Sigh! I recall you telling me about the too small lounge cover and your adaptions. I hope that you have got it sorted now for this visit. Re. knitting and cats, Mungo generally sits on my knees as I knit and doesn't bother me. Sometimes in the morning I would find balls of wool scattered around. I haven't knitted since Mindy's arrival so not sure how she will be. She is currently asleep on my comfortable library chair and I have a hard wooden one to sit on. I will soon be in bed to snuggle and read. Not listen to the AFL. Enjoy your new day.

Good morning splash--It is sunny and clear and going to warm up to be another heat wave. I never turned on the golf channel until 2 so don't know if they had the Scottish open on but I had the womens golf followed by the minor players PGA so still got my fill. I am going to have to stick to the schedule here today as yesterday the day slide by and not much was done. Didn't get up real early but off to get the laundry done before it gets to hot and then I will tackle the rest of the list. Have a good day
