Hello Ed, I you seem to be ahead of me with the book. The Monday Morning Coffee Group was great however our only 2 men were missing due to other committments. The conversation as usual was lively and interesting. One of the subjects was not surprisingly about aged care, nursing homes and mobility chairs parked at the homes. Naturally I had tell to them about the book. They all laughed at my account of Walter being tested for his mobility chair and I am fairly sure that they will be now seeking the book. Most of the group love reading. Haha perhaps Joanna Nell, the author, should give me a free book as I have been promoting her books and many people have taken them up. On another subject, when I came home this afternoon and walked past my bathroom there was a distinct odour of mould. Not sure if it is coming in from outside or due to the tap problem? I checked all my towels stored under the sink. They were all dry. Hopefully the plumber will solve it tomorrow. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, sad that Tracey is down in the dumps.  That was a lovely thing that you did for the man on his own. Who knows, you may have saved his life by your kindness? Busy day at the op shop. I started with the adults novels. They arranged alphabetically by the author's surname. I began at Z. Reshelved books that are not novels. It amazes me how many books are incorrectly shelved. I managed to work my way to J. At the end oif the day one and a half shelves are empty. Left a note for the backroom workers telling them what I did. I will curious to see if anyone continues with it during the week. Plumber coming tomorrow to fix my taps. Enjoy your day.

Good morning splash--It is a nice bright,sunny Sunday morning,a little cool at the moment.I do live in a civilized world--we have had the fibre For a long time now. When I moved here I had the choice of Rogers  Cable or the Bell fibre network and  knowing the cable network is not always reliable I got the fiber network. Daughter and Kevin still have satilite Tv and some are a little backwards still if they live in the country and nothing has got out that far. Yes I think they started a little late because there was some heavy rains to be absorbed into the course. Should be interesting to day to see if Fleetwood can stay on top/ Have a good Sunday.

Hello Ed, I am home again after visiting Mum. I told her about the nursing home book. Mum had read the retirement village a few years before I did. I told her about the mobility scooter incident and the midnight club. She loved the whole idea of the book and immediately looked it up to see if she could get an audio book. Then she told me that Joanna Nell has written quite a number of books and that I should keep my eye out for them at the shop. As I will do. Mum will ask her local library if they can get any of the audio books for her. And now we have Jennifer interested in the books. Enjoy your day.

Good morning--It is a nice sunny start to the day although a little on the cool side at the moment,but supposed to get quite warm. I am happy,got the new tv and Kevin has got most of it up and running(the important  part is I can get the golf channel) Its a smart tv and I probably won't even turn onhalf the features as I don't want my life complicated. Got all my cheaper pills at the big store and Sagwa's little so set for a bit now.Eventhough some of the golfers have risento the top right now we will have to wait the next couple of days to see how things end up--I am finding the broadcast a little substandard too with showing the favorites a lot of the time. , Hope no one comes to visit for the next couple of days so you can watch in peace. Hello Ed I do not mond if you go on a bit as you always have interesting things to say. Re. getting rid of things I suggest that you do not leave them to your children to put into landfill. Give them to charity or even try to sell them. Sadly when my daughter Hope was last here she told me to get rid of my doll collection. No one buys dolls. When I protested and pointed out that one of the dolls was antique (worth over $1000) and many were vintage she´just told me that no one collects dolls now. And 'we' will not have the time to try and sell them. They will end up in land fill. That made me feel so sad. Apart from the fact that it was a cruel thing to say to me. So I have now been slowly giving the least important dolls to the op shop. And they have all sold. God only knows what they will do with my books and paintings? On a happier note I will soon be in bed to continue reading about Hattie and Walter. I am really enjoying this book. Goodnight from me.
