splashed-- mallard and pink ty. I guess my head was not in it yesterday--I was later getting up and I did go on the computer but guess I missed answering so of the posts. All was okay but with the broadcast starting at noon and me not getting up till 9:30.I only did a few things and one of them was to make sure my meals were ready. MacIntyre seemed fine until Shefler tied him and then he lost his train of thought or something. There was some good golf played though and the ones on the bubble sure bounced back and forth. Guess that means for the first 2 round MacIroy will be playing with Shefler,he will at least get to feel like a winner.He didn't losehis 2nd place but he sure didn't play like he was a top golfer. Hello Ed, Ty for the Peace Dove. I had my usual  homemade and Frozen Pea and Ham Soup with Garlic Bread. A meal that is a go to after working in the shop. One more left. Whilst eating my dinner I watched the ABC news and they paid tribute to Terrance (Terry) Stamp. I had quite forgotten his brilliant role in Pricilla Queen of the Desert. I watched that film many years ago and totally enjoyed it. I will have to watch it again, perhaps tonight as I snuggle in bed now that Mungo has fixed my back. I watch shows on my lap top as I snuggle down. Did you persist with the Harry Potter jigsaw? I have one here that SIL Michael and I gave up on when Michael counted out the pieces and he decided some were missing. Michael loves solving puzzles as I do. Oh and yes Diane wrote to me as well. Phew! It is time for me to say Goodnight and enjoy your day.

Ello Ed, TY for the Mallard. And Collingwood lost by 4 points. I aven't heard the news about Terrance Stamps passing. Coffee group this morning with lots of great conversations. They loved hearing about Mungo fixing my back. @ of the ladies almost tripped as we were leaving and another called out, Calling Dr. Mungo" Then the Op shop this afternoon. The usual busy Monday. A Joanna Nell book came in that I grabbed. Remember the Jacaranda Retirement Village? this one is called, 'The Great Escape from Woodlands Nursing Home'. It may be just the book to cheer me up when I finis the WW2 book. Enjoy your day.

Splashed-we has a thunder and light show about 5 am but seen as it was still darkish  got Sagwa to settle and we slept till after nine. I hope that is the end of out heat and humidity--still had the a/c on as the humidity seemed to be around today. Of course it was just golf for me and Shefler managed to squeek out the win--MacIntyres seems to get rattled easily. Off to bed now to read a bit if I can ad these new glasses seem to be straining my eyes, Guess Have to phone and see if I can go get things check on Tues.(nurse will be tomorrow) Have a good night.

Hello Ed, I just have to sort out my phone for navigation and then sort out how to get it to the screen on my dashboard. My old phone could do that. Dinner now done such as it was. A frozen one and I did not enjoy it. I should have cooked my meal however I got involved with helping Shannon. So far he likes my suggestions. Not sure if he has a due date and I am now thinking of bed and finishing my book. I just glanced up at one of my book shelves and spotted a book that you may enjoy? 'The Unlikely Voyage of Jack de Crow'. by A.J. Mackinnon. It is a true story of an Austrlian teacher who was working at Ellesmere College in Shropshire. He intended in spending a quite few weeks rowing in a small Mirror Dinghy travelling 60 miles to Gloucester on the river Severn. He ended up in Northern Europe a year later. It is true and very funny. Well worth a read. Goodnight now Ed.
