Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard and Ruby seed. Oh dear Sandra has packed again and wants to go home. Just an idea.... Have you asked Sandra where home is? You will be thinking of where you live but Sandra may have another home in mind. Perhaps her childhood home??? If she packs again wanting to go home, perhaps you could tap your head and say something like, "Oh silly me I have forgotten the address. What is it?" Hopefully her answer will tell you where she thinks home is. I am sure that I told you about the time that Dad was advising me about buying a boat and I just went along with it and asked him questions about the boat he had in mind for me. Morning splash--field mouse ty. It is  a sunny morning and 15 to begin so maybe we can have some good weather for a bit. I hope your days can be nice and quiet and uneventful but I am afraid  it is only the beginning of the daily problems.
I did have a nice surprise yesterday--Ryley came over to deliver some margerine that his mom wanted me to try and stayed for a nice visit. The only problem there is they don't eat until later so it was 4:30 going on 5 when he got here and my supper time is usually around 5 so I got some over done chicken got my supper--not too bad in that there was lots of liquid in the pan so it wasn't dry.I hope your trip totown goes well and like I say time to get the kids involved so eveerything is not all on you shouldars(maybe including Olivia!!)

Hello Ed, me again. You asked me about my dinner. I had leftovers from last nights meal of beetroot rissoles with fried tomatoes, mushrooms and potoato mash. I love the beetroot rissoles! They do have meat in them. I buy them from the corner store and everything there is organic. Haha the other day I purchased my favourite peanut butter from the store and told the lass serving me that it was the last jar on the shelf. Frank, the owner overheard me and checked the upper shelves. I was correct. He then came up to me and said, "Dianne, you are supposed to say to the staff that they must tell, me, Frank." Then he told  the girls that I am addicted to it and that they must take care of me! "Dianne is like Pooh Bear with a pot of honey." Haha! Funny but true! Best Peanut Butter that I have ever eaten and I actually eat it by the spoonful from the jar. Now I am ready for bed and a book. Sending you many hugs!

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. I did read Diane's post to you re. urine problems. Diane does not have dementia and I really do not think that is Sandra's problem re. urine, although I am not a doctor. I do agree with Diane that your daughters should help with getting Sandra to a doctor. Oh Ed you are really doing it tough at the moment. I really feel for you and you can complain to me any time that to need to. No need to say sorry! Sending you HUGS!

Hello Ed, TY for the White Mouse. I did have the usual busy and happy Monday! I am so sorry about the episode with Sandra and glad that it had a happy ending with her unpacking the case and settling in again. What does she do if she is not knitting? Are her materials still close by? I was wondering if it happens again you can distract her by saying "First we need to go and sort out all the wool etc.?" Mum tells me that she used distraction. I think that you are doing an amazing job caring for Sandra. Hugs.

Morning splash-- It is a very foggy looking morning h ere butthe temperatures are to rise again so maybe this time the cold weather will be gone.  You are sort of caught between a rock and a hard place with Sandra--sounds like you really need some help somehow--as you say hopefully the girls can help. I don't know about water infection but I do know whaen I had the infection that finally put me in the hospital--I was not seeing things as they are--was in a totally different place even though it was still my apartment.Even though she will not like it I am afraid it sounds like time for some professional help because its not something you can handle alone.--just my opinion from what I have seen go on here. Hope today is better(at least quiet and no ups or downs) and have a good day--the golf should be interesting!!!
