Splashed  The sun is shining and we are at 10 with rain moving in in about 2 hrs so hope we can get done and not be out in it. I am afraid I have quite a list of things for Kevin--Gave up yesterday and went and joined Sagwa on my bed--more things were going wrong--did get the tv in the bed room going but the living room one is still all mucked up. as I was trying to look for something yesterday I forgot that I am not supposed topull out all 3 drawers in the cabinet at once--it toppled over and everything went flying-- got it sort of upright again but can't lift it to get back where it belongs or get one drawer back in. That a a bunch of smaller annoying things on the computer. Have a good day

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse! Mum seems to be ok within herself and she spoke to me about her concerns for friends in the village. She is certainly showing her age now and I suspect that she is getting blinder although she does Iet on. I just have to enjoy every moment with her.
On a more trivial note, my facebook seems to have been restored. I did complain to them a few days ago and they just kept sending links that involved me sending them more information re. all manner of tech, things. In the end I posted on F/B that I had a problem and couldn't deal with the tech. side and suddenly all seems to be resolved. Re. your test message to me, my response was from David Bowie's song  'Ground Control to Major Tom.' I hope that makes sense? Now I really have to go to bed as it has been a long day. Hello Ed, yes our entry in the European Song Contest is Delta Goodram. She is quite popular here. I am home again after visiting Mum. It took me nearly 2 hours to get there due to a Freeway Closure for roadworks. Only an hour to drive back home. Mum gave me most of her Art School Bag to take back home. Happily she wanted to hold on to her water colour pencils and regular colour pencils and colouring book. I asked her about her knitting and she told me that she cannot really be bothered at the moment. Mum has always knitted! Then she showed me what she is clearing out from her wardrobe. She wants her carer to wash them and then give them to me for the Op Shop. I offered to clean them but she told me that the carer will be happy to do so. I didn't argue. It makes me sad to think that Mum is doing so much clearing. I know in my heart that she is preparing for......Can't say it but thinking it. Enjoy your day.

splashed-- It is sunnand 13 this morning so lets hope it is  the start of a good weekend. It is the long Victoria Day(named for Queen Victoria's official birth day and hence all kings or Queens following) so the official start of the summer season for the campers and cotagers so will be crazy on the highways going north to cottage country. Don't bother with that anymore( will stay with my warm bed  and room to move around and not get cold. Kevin will be over on Sat. Morning and I will go get grocers and such because except for the few things I got last Sunday I have not really been shopping for a month. Never had Spam fritters but instead my mom would fry slices in brown sugar syrup until they were brown and crisp on the outside .Haven't had that for a long time but the price of it is no longer cheaper either. I am glad I went to the hearing place to get mine even if they are expensive because like everything else there is so many kind and types that I would be totally confused-- now the others will show up seen as you got new ones . Hello ED, TY for the Bee Eater and PD. I am home again after working at the Oppie. Thankfully there were not too many donations. I nearly came home with 2 large books about the Beatles however I resisted in the end and put them in the shop. Lucky Tracey going to Spain. I LOVE Spain. I am sure that the cats will be fine in the cattery. Haha! now that you have stopped looking for the hearing aids they will most likely turn up! Enjoy your new day!
