Hello Ed, I enjoyed my steak dinner and have leftovers for tomorrow. How was the Korma? Did you need an extinguisher again? I noticed that you said you were filling your car up with 'gas'. Are you using the American expression for petrol or does your car run on gas? When I set my alarm on my phone the other day my watch also picked it up so it was an alarming couple of noises when they both went off at the same time. Is your boxing glove settling down? How is Sandra? It is still daylight here however I am ready forward to bed. I may watch a little TV but not excited about that. Enjoy your new day.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. I am still learning about my watch. One good thing about it is that I don't have to worry about keeping my phone near me. Not that I ever did anyway. I am definately not one of those peeps that has the phone with me at all times. So the mystery of Kev continues. Re. Steve Biddulph I have met him as he came to my school for parent talks. I have read many of his books and made sure that the Parent Library stocked them. As for me keeping bees? I love bees and am always happy  when I see them in my garden. I have lots of flowers that attract them, however I am not sure that I want the responsibility of an hive. I have looked into it in the past. Tess' bees will find their way to my garden as it it a short flight. I hope that Tracey has a happy celebration of her birthday. The plumbers came here today to workout what I require for a new shower recess. Now I have to wait for the quote. Almost time for me to start making dinner. Rib Eye steak tonight. Enjoy your new day.

Morning splash-- field mouse ty. It is -3 and light snow this morning(light-- I can't see very far so it is really coming down) I don't think the mens hockey has started yet,I think they only have so many ice surfaces and there is curling and skating to be done. We shall see how high  our tea goes today and if any more show up--usually when they do something different people come out of the woodwork. Hope the finger is slowly going down. Have a good day

Hello Ed, it is still raining heavily here and quite windy. Dinner now done and the cats are inside. Plumber coming in the afternoon tomorrow to discuss the shower recess. Enjoy your day.

Hello ED, happily it is raining heavily here today although not cold. I am sitting outside undercover wearing a T shirt. I am sure that my  plants are loving the drenching. Much needed. I will now go inside to start prepping dinner. I hope that the boxing glove is going down. Hugs.

Hello Ed, TY for the Peace Dove.  OH dear you certainly had a bad day. Nowdays I do not enjoy really spicy food. I decided not to go to the Art Group today as I have really had a busy week and just needed a quiet day at home. On Monday as I was walking for my coffee a little boy who lives near the shop ran out to visit  the house across the road. His mother Tess, and the 2 boys always speak to be when we meet. Monday Otto told me that his chhok had just layed the egg and then he sniffed it. He also told me that they now have a bee hive and he loves honey. That afternoon at the op shop I found a Bee Keepers Journal in the donations so I took it home for Tess and the boys. Today I dropped in with the book and spotted Tess leaning against the bee hive with a look of pure bliss on her face. No protective gear on. She told me that bee keepers should listen to their bees and that was what she was doing. She was also enjoying the smell of the honey they were making. Tess was surprised and delighted by the book and then told me that she would give me a jar of honey when it was time to gather it. They are a lovely family. All have wild, white blonde hair and never seem to wear shoes. Tess h

Morning splash-- mallard ty. This morning is cloudy and -6,a big improvement over the bone chilling stuff. But a storm is forecast and we are just above the line so we shall see. We don't get any free anything, bus is a reduced fare here but the government raise the old age pensions by 15.00 and the Cpp by 5 so with the Ontario Drug  Plan that will get me 5 perscriptions at least and the government if giving up a $100  a month to help with goceries. I guess it is something at least. Going to start feeding Sagwa the canned tuna--it is cheaper than the cat food now!! Will be glued to the tv again with the womans hockey against the US this afternoon. Have a nice trip on the bus and hope you find the boots Sanadra wants( I can't find any footwear now with the one leg and foot being wrapped all the time.
