Splashed-- a beatiful sunny morning but it is -15 and I don't want to know what it feels like. I really does look nice and bright down there but it also has a coldlook too . Funny how when you know have to do something how much easier it is--I still just jump in and try to fuge my way through. Tea today so hoping that goes well aand we casn keep getting new ones to come down( a little tricky get ones from the other building as they have to come out in the cold and I think bundling up and the short walk may not be worth it.)I have a few little jobs to get done this morning and then I am free. Have a good shop--hope the different day is a good one. Have a good day

Hello Ed, I got your message. I have almost answered all F/L messages and yes I am sitting out on my verandah as I write to you. I can hear the surf now that tourist cars have left.  An earlier message from you mentioned Poo Balls on the beach???? Did you mean dog droppings? Most people carry plastic bags and collect the droppings. So not a problem. I mentioned to Frank, the owner of the corner store, that he was out of my favourite peanut butter. He assured me that it will in the store next week. I didn't tell him that I could get it at a Deli in Rye. Re. your car windows and frost. Canadian Diane's son told me some years ago to use an old plastic card like a credit card. It works. The idea of a commune was really just a joke, although an interesting idea. Not an enclosed commune, just one where like minded people could live together and help each other. A retirement village? Well if I moved into a retirement village the Coffee Club group would be ideal neighbours. And Crouch End. I remember that Hope and I stayed there briefly at Brian's son's house after our European tour. We spent the next day cleaning it and then escaped as dubious people kept calling in. That was when I told Brian that he really had to get his son home to Australia. I hope that you have a good time shopping, not my favourite thing. In and out as needs be. Now night is slowly falling and I will bring the cats inside and soon go to bed with a book. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, I noticed that you watered my garden but didn't leave a message. Dinner now done and my cats are wanting to come inside for their dinner. Once again I am sitting outside and listening to the surf. Wishing you a wonderful day.

Hello Ed, I'm glad that you solved your lightbulb problem. As you say "Good Old You Tube." A much cooler day here. I am actually wearing a light sweater. Crazy weather! Coffee machine now working Phew! Bumped into a few of the Coffee Clubbers so stayed and chatted. We were all in good humour and the jokes were flying fast. One of the group mentioned that she was thinking about getting older and perhaps moving back to Mornington where she grew up. Her husband does not like the idea. Then we started chatting about how we love this area and all the friends that we have made. I was certainly in agreement with that. One of the ladies jokingly said we should all buy a large property and build tiny houses on it. Work it like a commune. She laughed and said that she would happily help in the gardens and then added that we could have a Library and Dianne could be the Librarian." We all agreed that it would have to have a pool in the centre. It certainly was a better start to my day!

Morning splash--pair of lovebirds ty As you mentioned we got snow and snow and more snow--it has been snowing lightly again this morning but I don't think anything is canceled this morning---it is -15 feels like -31 and I am not going to even put my nose out. Yesterday the guy showed up at 9:30 and by about 11:00 he was all done,no cuting or sawing--just fillin the hole with a cement like stuff, put heat on it for a bit and then paint the ceiling. All done--nice a quiet so Sagwa  didn't get scard or go hide. Don't know what is on my agenda for today but  it definately is going to be inside where there is heatI hope changing your shopping day works for you and there isn't too much of an upset. Have a good day. It is definately winter outside here but as for a wonderlkand its hard to see through the snow coming down.

Hello Ed, Ty for the Mallard. The water colour is a painting of Tulips in a vase on a window shelf, curtains on the left and just the top of  a lounge chair in the foreground. I am trying to get the blue and white outside of the window as I want it. Well I have made an effort fornnext week. Mindy is now inside. Silly cat she spent the VERY hot afternoon under my car. I kept calling her in to no avail. Now I am getting ready for bed and a book. Enjoy your day.

Hello ED, TY for the Mallard. I have done a liitle bit of my water colour painting today. Haven't touched it since early December. It is too hot outside although Mungo is nagging me. Mindy jumped past my legs earlier and is out there in the heat. Sigh!
