Morning splash-- mallard ty. This morning is cloudy and -6,a big improvement over the bone chilling stuff. But a storm is forecast and we are just above the line so we shall see. We don't get any free anything, bus is a reduced fare here but the government raise the old age pensions by 15.00 and the Cpp by 5 so with the Ontario Drug  Plan that will get me 5 perscriptions at least and the government if giving up a $100  a month to help with goceries. I guess it is something at least. Going to start feeding Sagwa the canned tuna--it is cheaper than the cat food now!! Will be glued to the tv again with the womans hockey against the US this afternoon. Have a nice trip on the bus and hope you find the boots Sanadra wants( I can't find any footwear now with the one leg and foot being wrapped all the time.

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard and PD. I guess that it is good that Sandra wants to go out shopping for shoes?  I love my leather ankle
boots that  I found on line some years ago. However I only wear them now nowadays when socialising. My every day footwear are trainers with arch supports. My Sarah often told me off for wearing cheap sneakers. Last year I went into a sports shoe shop and the moment I tried the corrrect shoes on I did not take them off. What is the issue that Sandra has with her new boots? Perhaps like me she just needs really supportive shoes for everyday? Night is now settling in and Mungo just come and told me that he wants to be inside. Enjoy your day as I get ready for bed.

Hello Ed, TY for the Polar Bear. My watch is an Apple. I only use Apple products as I am familiar with how they work? I purchased it from a Telstra (phone company)  store and they set it up for me. Well the basics. THat was a HUGE reduction on price for your watch. I hope that it is OK. The Guttering man arrived promptly at 7 a.m. and worked solidly for 5 hours. When he stopped for lunch I sat outside and chatted with him. We kept finding weird connections. He once lived in my street. When he moved to Melbourne he lived in Thornbury just a few streets away from me. He knew the Abbotsford Convent and the school that I taught in, in fact he did some work at the school during the years that I was there. It never ceases to amaze me that when I stop and chat with people like the tradie, how much I find that we have in common. 6 degrees of difference. Enjoy your day.

Morning splash-- The sun is making an attempt to shine through but once again we are in a deep freeze (-20 right now) Oh the stores do clean their sidewalks but I think half the time we get more  snow and even a little layer with all the people walking on it ,it gets packed down and Icey. With it super cold again I will just stay in my warm apartment and look at that stuff outside. Beleive me we know about gout,both Kevin and Scott have in herited my weakness for it and have had bouts of it and the worst of it is the medicine to get rid of it has cause kidney problems in me. I just flipped around yesterday but ended up with watching a bunch of the golf then I gave up after supper and went to bed and read. Have a nice walk to town to day and a good day.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. I am somewhat confused. Are you telling me that this was real and not a dream? If real I hope that your friend and his real wife can work it out. Finished dinner and sat down to watch some TV almost fell asleep and then my watch buzzed me. Time to get up and move around. What a nagging thing it is! Oh well!

Me again, how is the gout today? It must be painful if your hand looks like a boxing glove. I sometimes get ringing in my ear when I m stressed. HUGS.

Hello Ed, home again after my usual busy Monday. Only 4 of us today at the Coffee Club. Then all the materials for my guttering was delivered. They are going to start at approx 7 a.m. tomorrow. I will have to set my alarm so that I am up and dressed before they arrive. I will also have to move my car onto the street as I don't want to be blocked in. The usual busy Monday at the op shop. Not many customers but lots of donations. I haven't heard from Lynne yet re. her bus. And I am like you, I do chat to not only the cashiers but also people waiting in the queue. Another reason for me avoiding the area where you have to do your own check in. I also always address the cashiers by their name. They appreciate that. Now as to your dream / real. I think that yoiu told me you did not actually get a message from your friend's wife. So it must have been a dream even if you felt that you were awake at the time. I would be interested if you have the dream again. Just remember that our dreams are our subconscious thinking, often trying to work something out and people in our dreams are aspects of ourself.
