Hello Ed, I agree with you about Trump's visit. I dislike the man. I also don't have much time for Charles. I guess that as he is a world leader the meeting had to take place. On a brighter note I went to the Art Group again today. They are all such friendly people. Everyone moves around the room to chat. No one is ignored. Close to the end of my time there I was chatting with a woman and we discovered that we had almost been neighbours in Thornbury. Another lady popped into our conversation and between the 3 of us we all knew the streets that we had lived in. So funny how things work out. Anton, one of the group, knew Brian and myself from Jamieson / Mansfield. The Art Group are putting on an exhibition early November. Alice In Wonderland. Raising money for a Life Saving Club. I came home with a task. One of the ladies, who is a brilliant artist, has made a lot of of wooden doors about 10 centimetres high and dome shaped. When I first arrived she asked be if I would paint or draw something on one for the exhibition. I shyly declined. She was not to be put off. Later she came to me with one of the doors and a book with a drawing and told me to take it home and think about it. And that is what I have been doing. I will have to read the chapter where Alice is in a house and outgrows it. Maybe the White Rabbit was there?
