Morning splash-- It is a dull morning and 4 at the moment but they are still calling for cold weather(I am sure most people are happy not to have to go out and freeze. It is  strange the vac dressing did not work, unless the incision is healed enough as to not let the fluid out and I don't really want a new hole for that. My nirse really did seem to know what she was doing so don't think we can blame her, Today I will get busy and get everything I need to get done ,done so I can relax with something and watch tv this whole afternoon---curling is on but so is lots of golf(2 big tournaments) so there should be no lack of what I can watch. I see a number of lights appearing on balconies lately and some house have the decorations up but I will not be digging in the storage locker for a bit yet--or until Kevin empties in into the corner of my dining room(Kevin tend to pull everything that even looks like it is Christmasy out and dump it in the apartment so I have to make multable trips getting it back in. But first the cat carrying cage and the wheelchair have to fit in, Have a good Sunday!!

Hello Ed, I am pleased that Sausge got home after her holiday. So funny that once again we are at each other's gate. I had almost signed off from F/L and FB getting ready for bed and wondering about you. And then you popped up. I managed to go through some of my clothing and now have a bag for the Op shop tomorrow and that also means that I now have 2 empty drawers and no plans for filling them.
The clothes were what I wore when teaching and now as I only wear a few outfits OUT they must go. Such a good feeling to get rid of things. Now night has descended and I will soon be in bed. Enjoy your new day.

Hello ED, well despite my pottering around I have acomplished a lot. Re. Day Light Saving I understand why the UK started doing it many years ago. Children walking home from school in the dark is not good. As for me way down south in the world it makes no sense. My daughter Hope who lives in Sydney once complained that the daylight hours here in Victoria are too long for parents trying to encourage children to bed. Haha first world problem. Now I will go back to pottering around.

Hello Ed, I have hired the Tree Lopper, however he cannot do the work until the 2nd week of January. I am pottering around that. It is cold here again and rained heavily this morning before I got up. I am glad that you enjoyed your social evening and hopefully didn't get too wet going there. Sleep tight.

Morning splash--golden dragon ty I am vacless for the weekend--it was making my leg sore and not even drawing a hint of moisture. So the nurse and I decided to just put the old type dressing on and see what happens(it is not sore this morning) and if it does drain any. It is nice not to be trailing all that tubing around and getting wound up in it by turning the wrong way. Also maybe I can do a few things without having to pull my walker closer or something when I try to reach things. We have rain and snow forecast but right now it is bright and sunny, Have a good day. I will have to do some cleaning before I even look for the Christmas stuff and nothing goes up until starting the 28th of Nov, Have a good day.

Hello Ed, TY ƒor the Mallard. I guess that I could put a net over the Olive tree. Re. the time distnce from here to Perth, Australia is a large continent and I don't think that they have so called daylight saving. I firmly believe that we shouldn't have it here in Victoria as well. Makes no sense to me. Who are we saving daylight for? Haha! Well I am really off to bed now. Enjoy your day....light.

Hello Ed, enjoy your time in Perth watching the cricket. They are about 3 or 4 hours behind my time in Victoria. I have had a scatty day. One moment I was changing paintings, then I would spot something to do in the garden. Never quite settled one one task. I did prune my Olive tree and managed to do some weeding. I love my Olive tree as do the birds. Last year the birds left me 12 olives. Not much I could do with that. Night is slowly falling and Mindy is trying to encourage me to allow her outside. That will not happen. It does amuse me that both cats stretch up to the door handle hoping to open it. Not possible. I will soon go to bed to hopefully enjoy a book. Just haven't found one that grabs me at the moment. Enjoy the cricket.
