splashed-- It is 19 and cloudy with some rain later --maybe if it doesn't go around us. Yes you did tell me it was Sandra's birthday and all the celebrating you did. Yesterdays appointment was very frustrating--took over 3 hour to do nothing except wait!!  Tea break today so that will ease my trouble soul and maybe give me someone to talk to besides Sagwa. Sagwa and I have so good conversations but I am not finding his answers very informative lately. Have a good day.

Hello Ed, TY for another peace dove. I hope that you enjoy the 100 y.o. man... as much as I did. It is a keeper for me. Re. the frames. no one would want them as they are so heavy, far too heavy to hang on walls. I am saying REALLY HEAVY. That is what amused me about them given that Brian was a flight engineer. They have never been hung on my walls. They were stored in his studio in Jamieson and now as I said liberated. They would look great in a lighter frame. Many years ago my son Shannon and his wife Amira took photos of all of Brian's paintings and created a web site. Sadly in Brian's last few weeks on earth some one hacked it and the site was lost. My grief at the loss of Brian took over. I must ask Amira and Shannon if they still have the photos and if they can possibly create the web site again. Dinner now done and I am feeling much better after my social morning and days activities. I am now thinking bed and a book or perhaps some light entertainment on my lap top as I snuggle in. Hello Ed, TY for the Peace Dove. After doing some domestic chores I spent the afternoon liberating some early paintings of Brian's from their heavy frames. They have been leaning against walls and bookshelves here at Rye. Far too heavy to hang. Haha, sorry darling Brian. He kind of failed re framing his early paintings given that he was an aeronautical engineer. Now that the paintings have been liberated, and it was not an easy task, I will see if his daughter wants them. Easier now to post them to her. My walls are full. Enjoy your day.

Off to Brighton today with my friend Lynn. We try to go different places once a month. Picnic on the beach. Brighton Pavilion. Fish and chips on the pier.

Hello ED,  it is called SAD. I am rallying today. Walked in the brief sunshine, despite the wind,  for my morning coffee. Nearly all of my coffee mates were gathering at the same time so we all stopped outside to chat. That lifted my spirits. Well apart from one lady who was tearful as her husband had passed away on Monday. We had a quiet chat on the side lines as I am the only other widow in the group and I told her that I understand what she is going through. That is real sadness not my silly low feeling from yesterday. I didn't say that to her. Now I am back to getting into things around the house. I think that the key is to catch as much sunlight as possible, walk and socialise and keep busy.  I have also been thinking about my yearly teacher registration. $90. This year they want to update my details for a police check etc. Fair enough, however I need access to a printer to copy the forms and take to a police station. As much as I loved teaching and miss my time with students my reality is that I no longer have the energy to do it even as a casual teacher. I haven't approached the local schools letting them know that I am available even though I know that they are desperate for casual teachers. So now I will let my registration lapse. Decision made. Enjoy your day.

splashed--field mouse ty/ It is early and dull at the moment but I am up and on the go. Will be off to the hospital to see the vascular doctor this morning--not something I really want to do but will go anyway. It will probably turn out to be another hot one--starting at 19 this morning.I am glad to see that there was a birthday celebration and all went well. Have a good day.
