Splashed-we has a thunder and light show about 5 am but seen as it was still darkish  got Sagwa to settle and we slept till after nine. I hope that is the end of out heat and humidity--still had the a/c on as the humidity seemed to be around today. Of course it was just golf for me and Shefler managed to squeek out the win--MacIntyres seems to get rattled easily. Off to bed now to read a bit if I can ad these new glasses seem to be straining my eyes, Guess Have to phone and see if I can go get things check on Tues.(nurse will be tomorrow) Have a good night.

Hello Ed, that is sad that you cannot find the book at your Library. I really did think that you would enjoy it. Oh well on with my search for funny books for you. Well not tonight as now I am REALLY going to bed.

Hello Ed, I just have to sort out my phone for navigation and then sort out how to get it to the screen on my dashboard. My old phone could do that. Dinner now done such as it was. A frozen one and I did not enjoy it. I should have cooked my meal however I got involved with helping Shannon. So far he likes my suggestions. Not sure if he has a due date and I am now thinking of bed and finishing my book. I just glanced up at one of my book shelves and spotted a book that you may enjoy? 'The Unlikely Voyage of Jack de Crow'. by A.J. Mackinnon. It is a true story of an Austrlian teacher who was working at Ellesmere College in Shropshire. He intended in spending a quite few weeks rowing in a small Mirror Dinghy travelling 60 miles to Gloucester on the river Severn. He ended up in Northern Europe a year later. It is true and very funny. Well worth a read. Goodnight now Ed.

Hello Ed, no I didn't get to Mum's due to traffic diversions on the Pennisula link, one of the roads I travel on. I get hopelessly lost if I do not not the route. Mum laughed when I phoned her calling me 'Wrong Way Hosae.' She has been with me many times in the car when I have become lost. I ended up visiting Terase, boat shed owner, at her house in Rye and she showed me an alternative route on a map if the road works are still happening next weekend. "You remember it Dianne, that is the way you drove here 35 years ago from Camberwell." Yeah sure. Only vaguely.  I didn't say that out loud. Good grief I am hopeless re directions. I will have to try and get the road map thing on my new phone before next weekend. Another thing I am hopeless at is technology. Shannon messaged me re a forward he has been asked to do for a book about 2 well known Melbourne Graffitti artists. They are not scrawlers, they do legal art. The author wants him to cut it by 100 words due to printing space.  Within his text he was pointing out that even his Mum (me) knew there names. Well there was 20 words he could get rid of even though I was flattered. Told him no one cares what your Mum thinks in a book forward. Then I made suggestions re. his opening paragraph. It was too wordy. I have possibly reduced his intro by 50 words. At least that is something I am good at. I may look at the rest of the text tonight. Shannon is usually succint with his writing however I guess that his admiration for the artists has taken over. Someone needs to edit my text to you. Haha.

splashed-- Sagwa and I slept in until after nine this morning--I said to heck with trying to beat the heat and get jobs done. Today our only job will be getting food on time and hoping the golf is interesting,McIntyre is making things interesting at least and as you say can he hold up for 2 more rounds?? I will be watching closely at any rate and we will see if Rory can improve any more(10 shots behind at the moment and could be interesting how much Shefler can eat into the lead.  Have a good day and enjoy your cooler temps. Hello ED, haha. Buy to purchase, Bye, farewell and by next to. Well you did ask.  I will ask Mum about a funny book for you. I will also need a funny book when I finish the one on Austwhichz. It was leftovers for dinner tonight. I did a bit of gardening and then it started to rain agin so I came inside to knit. Had a video call with Shannon and Jesse before dinner. Jesse was more interested in Shannon's equipment in the studio. Now it is time to snuggle in bed and read.  Collingwood either played this afternoon of perhaps tonight. I can only hope that they won.
