Hello Ed, I started my day calmly with my usual walk for my morning coffee. Then my friend Terase called me inviting me over to look at photos of my 2nd cousin Tracy and giving me names to to the many faces in the phtos. She paused at one and said she couldn't remember her name. I immediately gave it to her as it was someone I knew from Mansfield. So we are more linked. Crazy! Once I was home again I called Mum who is loving the respite hospital and becomming engaged with many activities. She sounded quite upbeat! My cats were outside after being shut in whilst I was at Terase's. Then Mungo appeared with what looked like a small snake in his mouth head first. I rushed him over where I had tools and he dropped it. I immediately bludgeoned it to death and burried it. Our snakes are all poisoness. I rushed Mungo inside to keep a close eye on him and kept checking his mouth for signs of a bite. No signs. Then I spent an anxious few hours watching him and googling what I could expect to see if he was bitten. Because it is the Easter break my local Vet was not open and I would have to drive for an hour to get Vet help. Long story shortened he seems to be fine although I am still closely watching him. He is certainly not lethargic and even managed to escape between my legs as I was trying to get Mindy inside for dinner. He is now back inside and more interested in his food than my anxiety. I did think that it was unusal that a snake would end up with its head in a cat's mouth, so I googled legless lizards. We do have them here and they are endangered. Sadly I may have killed one today thinking it was a snake. Mungo seems to be fine at the moment although I am still closely watching him. And now he has to stay inside. He will not be happy about that. Oh what a day!

Good morning splash-- It is a dull.cloudy morning that looks like the possibility of rain, oh well maybe we get a little damp I will really have to get busy this morning as Kevin apparently gets off at noon and I at least have  to have my grocery list made out. I just read Dianne's message to you and yes power of att0rneys are a verygood idean--Kevin and I both have power of attorney papers done for both money and health. Discovered it is very essential to have when my husband dies--was lucky and everything was in joint stuff but if it hadn't been it would have been 10 times worse trying to get things settled. Glad you got the beer bottled so now you won't have to go without.Have a good day.

Hello Ed , you need to speak to a soliciter about power of attorney. I think that it would be a good thing to do given Sandra's condition. I have given 2 of my children that power should anything go wrong with me. It is a legal document. Gosh this is depressing me! What I wrote about Trump was heartfelt! He should be impeached. He is a criminal! His war on Iran is totally  illegal as he did not consult Congress. Now I am trying to find something happier to write about. Oh today when I went into a shop and asked for an item the young sales girl took a moment to get it for me and then attached was a lovely hand wriiten note wishing me a Happy Easter. Now that was realy lovely!   There are good people out there! I am now off to bed. Enjoy your new day.
