Hello Ed I came home this afternoon and was surprised and a little worried that you had not written to me. Now I know that you did and sent it to Diane. Easy to do. Re. mouse plagues. The mice, rats and rabbits came out here on the First Fleet. They are not native animals. As my dear cats are also not native animals. And re. the flag, this issue arises every now and again. People want to remove the British flag from the Australian one. I don't think that it will happen. I haven't actually heard about either issue recently. Most likely the removal of the British flag has come up due to the Royal Birthday Long weekend. Haha! I am sure that the people raising the issue will still enjoy the long weekend. My day started with walking to the Corner shop for Monday Morning Coffee Club. As usual it was a lovely social time and the weather was mild. Then I worked at the Oppie. Managed to shelve many books. Still trying to work out what to do with large amount of cooking books. Around 3:30 I looked outside and the rain was being driven in by a bay wind. We all rushed outside to rescue the stock under our verandah. The rain was torrential and has remained so. No sitting outside tonight as the rain is still being blown in. I hoope that you have a good day. I will soon be in bed with a book and no doubt 2 cats.
