Good morning--so sorry to hear there was another fall--even at the best of time it is hard to remember to grab a walking aid. I have been using the walker for ages now and every so often I just head out across the room without it and then its a panic because I don't want to fall.Personally I don't like to have to use the cane or the walking frame without the 4 wheels because it slows me down. I also never  could get my act together with crutches or anything after all my surgeries ,It is just what you feel comfortable with and can use.I hope all is quiet and well today but I am afraid that the falls will continue unless she uses something everytime. It is slightly cooler this morning so for right now I have the windows and door open and the fans still going, but I am sure it will warm back up and we will be shut in. Maybe I will have to try to get down and out front for a bit today.Hope things go smoothly and you can have a better day.

Hello Ed, I use a walking stick when I go for my morning coffee as we do not have pavements here at the back beach. If a car comes along I have to get up off the road. Often tricky as my knees are still waking up hence the stick. Mum uses a walking frame now. It gives her confidence. Perhaps a walking frame would be better for Sandra? It would be more visable to her. Does she sleep upstairs? I am now off to bed to read a book. HUGS.

Read your Post to Mom .
I can say as one of the children . The children want to help and because they have more energy it is looked upon as jumping in and taking an aggressive posture . Everyone wants the same objective but have different routes to get there .
Also you see your wife everyday and all happens .
The children only get a snapshot .
None of us have all the answers .

Good morning splash--Bee eater ty. So far this morning is it sunshine and 23 but yesterday really got over the top. I had everything closed up and all the machines going to produce a little cool but it was still not the best, Yesterday to go a little emotional-- got a phone call from a lady down stairs if she could borrow my cat carrier, had to go root through the storage locker for it but did manage to find it. She had to take her cat(19 yrs old) to the vet and it looked like it was a one way trip,so there was the two of us blubbering in the hallway.(so came in and spoiled an already spoiled cat) My only suggestion for Sanadra is the meal replacements--liquid,small containers and kept in the frige  theey are cool in this hot weather. Long as she keeps hydrated it should be okayIts not the walking with a cane that I would be concerned about but in her mind she could want to go see something and get herself turned around and not know where she is--that would be my concern. But your just flying by the seat of your pants so maybe the doctor has better ideas. Well off to try and do something before we have to close up and hibernate from the heat. Have a good day and enjoy the golf(Scotti

Hello Ed, I cooked a rib eye steak, fried mushies and tomatoes with lots of pepper and salt. Mashed potatoes and fresh spinach all toppd with an Italian glaze. And that will also be dinner tomorrow. My phone told me to take a brisk 5 minute walk as I started to write to  you. I did stand up and swung my arms around as I walked through the house, pausing to fill the dishwasher and prepare my bed. I don't think that I made the 5 minute target. No matter. Given my fall the other day and you needing to get out and worried about Sandra, would she wear a watch like we have? Perhaps you could run that by Tracey? It would give you peace of mind when you need to go shopping. If I hadn't pressed OK on my watch after the fall 5 of my family would have been calling an ambulance for me. Meanwhile Mindy has stopped looking at me directly in my eyes although I did notice today that she is taking more care walking around me. Not rushing between my legs as if she is starving as she usually does. And she is not starving. Haha she is overweight. Just got a message from my phone that I have reached my Move Goal. So I guess that I can now go to bed to read a book. Hugs.
