Hello Ed I do not mond if you go on a bit as you always have interesting things to say. Re. getting rid of things I suggest that you do not leave them to your children to put into landfill. Give them to charity or even try to sell them. Sadly when my daughter Hope was last here she told me to get rid of my doll collection. No one buys dolls. When I protested and pointed out that one of the dolls was antique (worth over $1000) and many were vintage she´just told me that no one collects dolls now. And 'we' will not have the time to try and sell them. They will end up in land fill. That made me feel so sad. Apart from the fact that it was a cruel thing to say to me. So I have now been slowly giving the least important dolls to the op shop. And they have all sold. God only knows what they will do with my books and paintings? On a happier note I will soon be in bed to continue reading about Hattie and Walter. I am really enjoying this book. Goodnight from me.
