Hello ED, TY for the Peace Dove and PD. I hope that Sandra enjoyed her evening. Gosh the last thing I would want to do is go out somewhere else after a dinner. Did you have to drive? That would stop me. If it was a walk around the corner on a Summer's night I could slightly be tempted. I think that I am in a Mid Winter slump. There is a term for it but I have forgotten what it is. All due to lack of sunlight. Too cold to sit outside and listen to the surf. After a bit of F/L I will go to bed and snuggle / hibernate with a book. Enjoy your sunshine.

Hello Ed, TY for the P-P. Glad that you resolved that. I hope that you all enjoy Sandra's birthday dinner. You said 5. Sandra, you and Tracey. Who are the other 2? I woke to a cold, rainy and windy day today. Decided to drive round the corner for my morning coffee. Glad that I did as when I left the store a gust of wind nearly blew me over. I had planned to drive into Rye today to post some parcels etc. Decided against that. Instead I got on the internet and my phone to speak to real people about possible scams. It took about and hour due to waiting. One was my VIT account for teaching wanting to confirm me and update my details and a Police check. That turned out legit. The other wanting updated details re. my email acccount was a scam. Both phone calls took a long waiting time to connect however I was quickly assured when I spoke to the helpful humans using the phone. I am becomming more and more distrustful re messages on my phone and email asking for details. So many scammers out there and they are getting good at it. Enjoy.

Been lovely and cool today. Dry this afternoon though. Defrosted the freezer. I got this spray that's supposed to make it easier. It didn't really, but that job is done.
I see there is going to be another heatwave 🥵. I might have to put my shorts on

Morning splash--It is hot again but for the moment I have the window and the door open as the air moving in feels a little cooler. I watch the Scottish and British opens but don't enjoy those wide open fields with no boundries it seems. There was a playoff for the John deere but it was sort of a fizzle.We really slept in this morning(it was after 9 but was awake at 3 and took a pill) Now I really have to find a forward gear and maybe get something done. Nurse today but have no clue on what time she might get here and tomorrow back to see the vascular doctor, Have a good day and even though we do let the birthdays slide by-wish Sandra a happy birthday anyway.(I would rather just forget them anyway too)

Hello Ed, I hope that the day works out well for both Sandra and you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SANDRA! My children's book sale is going well. Selling a lot of books. Re. the Mushroom case my heart goes out to her 2 children. I guess that they are now with their father? Hopefully not in Morwell as living in a country town could be HARD for them. They must be devastated. Reheated dinner done and I enjoyed it. I watched Hard Quiz and the news. Now it is time for bed and a book. HUGS

Hello ED, TY for the Pygmy Mouse. What sdid you end up doing about Sandra's Birthday and the Ping gathering? Did you ask Sandra? Cooking for one is a bit ordinary and I often don't enjoy pre packed processed frozen meals so freezing my own cooking is better. I hope that you get your dilemma sorted. Hugs.
