Hello Ed, that is really SAD about Tom. He is obviously quite intelligent and the Oppie was most likely not the best place for him. Most volunteers are caring however, not really informed about dealing with people on the Spectrum. I hope that he can find something that he really wants to do. My mind is racing thinking about it but not coming up with possible solutions as I do not know Tom. The only thing that keeps coming into my mind is  his study of politics. That must be his interest. Perhaps further study? People on the Spectrum are usually highly intelligent however they have problems dealing with the emotional / social, even mundane side of life. I am not surprised that Tom had a melt down at the Oppie. Well you can see that I am thinking about Tom. On a lighter note, re. Harry and Meghan. They tried it here in Australia. It does seem that Meghan is trying to cash in on Royal favours to promote whatever it is she is promoting. Hopefully the UK refuses. And speaking about the Royal family I was impressed by Charles' speach in the USA. Trump didn't understand it. No surprises there! Now I must really go to bed  and get into that book again. Hello Ed, as I was settling into bed with my book I started thinking, "why did I reccommend it you you?" I am not sure that you will enjoy it??? It is dark! Yes it is a book that everyone in the Monday Morning Coffee Club seem to love And like me they say that they cannot put it down. We all met again this morning. I do enjoy all our talks. And then I worked at the Oppie this afternoon. Quite a few staff were away today. As the sun is starting to set and the cats are sitting outside waiting for me to feed them I should go inside, Leftover Chicken Kiev tonight for me, not the cats. Enjoy your day!

splashed-- mallard ty I slept in this morning but when I turned on the computer I discovered--Kevin is all tagged out--he was hunting with John this morning and this big tank came walking down the path--he couldn't let it go!! This one looks much better than his last water soaked bird,(if it hasn't disappeared the picture is on my facebook. Glad you enjoyed the family day and that was great news that there will be another baby in the family. Kevin just phoned me and because the internet is spotty down there it will maybe be awhile until he gets the pictures up . I will have the golf to watch this afternoon--that course sure can make things hard at times so we shall see how they all fare. Have a good day

Hello Ed, TY for the mallard and PD. I enjoyed my dinner. Re election, the Liberal party got in. No surprises for this area. In the meantime I am gripped by a book, 'Wild Dark Shore', by Charlotte McConaghy. Highly reccommended by the folk in The Monday Morning Coffee Club and muched passed around. Now it is my turn o read it. Set on a small island not far from Antartica. Home to the world's largest seed bank. Now abandoned by the researchers as the sea is rising and may flood the island. A man and his 3 children are the only humans left on the island and then....well I wont tell you more. However I am looking forward to going to bed and continue reading the book. Hello Ed, no the cats do not like the rain. Oh and it was Thunder and Lightening this morning! I love that! A few weeks ago I emptied out the LARGE toy basket and am now down to a few much loved toys. I asked my children if I can now get rid of the doll's house however came Shannon told me that Jesse loves it so I guess it stays. Well I was uncertain as I also love it. It is nothing like your wonderful doll houses. If I had one of them I would not consider giving it away! I have packed the boot of my car with toys and things from Mum ready to donate tomorrow. I am outside writing to you as it is not too cold. Loving the sound of the surf! Night is falling and I will soon be inside preparing dinner, which is a frozen Chicken Kiev. Only purchased the other day. My cats are wanting to be inside as well as they want dinner. Laters!

Hello ED, that is wonderful news about Sausage! It has been raining here all day so I have been inside sorting out toys and books for the Oppie! It is also bin night so I will have ro deal with that as well. Enjoy your new day!
