Hello Ed, TY for the Peace Dove. We are at each other's garden gate at the moment. It is just after 8 pm here. I am waiting for the sun to go down so I can go to bed. Mornings I only get up when the sun has risen. If I wake before that I pretend to be asleep so the cats don't expect to go outside. And I usually drift off again. I did not like having to wake when it was still dark to get ready for school during daylight saving. So yesterday you did upstairs duties and today downstairs. You are a good husband. Brian always cooked for me but never really did any cleaning. Well coming home after school and not having to think about cooking was good. I haven't read The Rules of Civility. I will be really interested in what you think about it. I keep hoping it will appear at the shop but so far it hasn't. If you enjoy it I may have to order it. Wishing you a great day as I will soon get ready for bed.

Hello ED, TY for the White Mouse. Home again after the Op shop. Another busy day. Talk about chatting, the customer who I directed to the Art group came in today. AS she has had family from Malysia staying with her I haven't seen her for a few weeks. We chatted. She is so interesting. I think that the next time she comes in we will have to make a coffee date. Enjoy your day.

Morning splash--They say it feels colder this morning but not going to go out to find out. You do have some adventures!! but nothing broken except pride so I guess all is okay with you but sort of a waste of beer. Tea was a little quiet and not many where there but we did have some good conversations and we have decided that the one lady is going to try to find another shelf for the books as these ones are over full and a mess most of the time.Today I plan to start doing some chores around here--no floors yet but will start small and just do little bits. I don't know if things are better without the staples or not--yes it is a step forward but some of it is not healed over and I only have steri strips on tohold me together--but I guess they know their busines so will just cautiously move forward, A few cloud but mostly blue sky today--have a good day

Hello Ed, I am glad that you didn't really hurt yourself. It is all happening here with the side fence being constructed. Mindy as usual hiding inside terrified by the noise and strangers everywhere. I went to the Hairdresser earlier and quite happy with the pampering and the result. Enjoy your day.

Morning splash---We are at 1 degree and nothing going on out there at the moment. I have had all the staples out of the abdomen but the leg he only took out every second one and has put me on antibiotics even though I don't have an infection because the grafts have taken we don't want one. The circulation in the leg is now 100% so good news on that front. I didn't miss the broadcast of rememberence day services from Ottawa ,huge crowds for it being such a cold windy day and some of the old veterens out--it was 80th anniversary of the war ending. Off to try to do a few little things--have a good day

Hello Ed, you sure know my diary! Yes it was Art group today. I worked on water colour of my cat Mungo, however I really needed him nearby to get the colours right. I usually sit near a wonderful artist, Pauline, and once again     I was amazed by her talent. I purchased a pastel drawing of hers during the Alice In Wonderland Art show. As it was a silent auction to raise money for the Surf Life Saving Club and we hardly had anyone coming in and bidding, I only paid $30 for it. And I love it. Now trying to work out where to hang it. It has been a busy day here. The fencing has now started. Mungo curious and Mindy terrified by the noise. Now that night has fallen I will soon be in bed with a book. Enjoy your new day.
