Hello Ed, once again we are at each other's gate. I have put the dictionary book aside whilst the family were all here. I need to concentrate on it and could not do that whilst little ones were popping into my room. "Nanna what are you doing?" My door was always open for them. I did manage to complete a novel that I finished this morning. 'Tom Lake.' by Anne Patchette. Passed it on to one of the Coffee Club members. Also told a customer about it today as we chatted about books. Not sure that it would be your cup iof tea? Night is slowly falling and my cats are hanging around for their dinner. They have been inside most of the day. I shall go and feed them now and the 3 of us will settle down for the night. I may pick up the Dictionary book again. Good night my friend.

Hello Ed, TY for the White Mouse. What is Cyber Darts? My ping Pong table at Rye buckled as it was outside although under cover. The sea air was the cause. I should have covered it with a tarp. Now my driveway and car port is used for football, basketball and bikes etc.

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. The fires are still burning and will likely keep burning for weeks. However they seem to be more contained now. Fingers crossed. I am home again after my usual busy Monday. Coffee Club in the morning and Op shop in the afternoon. I managed to shelve a lot of books and fill the games / jigsaw shelves. We are overwhelmed with clothing and bedding. I am wondering how we can send / donate all that we cannot use to the fire affected areas. Enjoy your day.

Morning splash-- it is -4 and light snow this morning so good thing I planned on not doing anything. I have everything crossed at the moment in hopes that my heat woes are fadding. Noticed last night it seems warmer in here and don't have the extra heaters on--it is hard to tell if there is more heat but my radiator seems to be warmer. As I keep telling everyone being nice,polite and not real demanding to start  seems to work better than all the holler,yelling and that. We shall se. I have a nice little beef roast so think I will go overboard today and cook the whole meal so maybe I have some leftovers for meals in the week and not have to do a lot. So will heat the place by using the big oven on the stove instead of just the toaster oven. No golf but I sure had a full afternoon yesterday asnwill have today too--curling finals and Canadian figure skating and if I get bored I think there was some skiing and such on.Have a good day and I hope you have a peaceful Sunday.

Me again, the snooker place sounds like fun. I do enjoy games like Darts, snooker and Ping Pong. Not so good at Ping Pong. I haven't played any of the games for years. I have a dart board but cannot put it up with so many little ones visiting. I did buy a soft target game for them. The beginnings of darts. They have to throw a felted ball at velcro targets. They enjoy it.

Hello Ed, TY for the White Mouse. Arja and her family managed to get home to Maindample, near Mansfield. The fires are close to Maindample however they can always go and stay with Sarah, her mother, in Mansfield, 15 minutes away.
