splashed--A nice sunny morning but it could get a little windy later--maybe.  Yes I am on the 12th floor but completely around the other end of the hall with the elevators in the middle,Don't think that  there is any movie making going on but all is quiet now, Yes --I have been told to kept my door locked except for when I expect the nurse,as far as anyone is concerned no money in this place so there is no sense coming in here as you may not get a good welcome.  Yes forgot about them working on the 401 east of Toronto and I have seen in the past where they send people to detour--guess long as they made it,its all an adventure.That is something that you don't want to have to do when you don't know the area, Have a good day and I hope the cats are well settled in.

Hello Ed, it means that Collingwood are in the final rounds. 2 deciders and then hopefully the Grand Final. Re. Tracey's cats. You have certainly looked after them a lot lately. However that is good so that Tracey can get away. Cats can be very demanding and naughty. I was trying to relax this afternoon after working at the shop, doing a bit of knitting whilst watching TV. Mungo leapt onto my knee as he usually does when I am sitting knitting. Next moment he grabbed my ball of wool and took off with it. He managed to wrap it around my dining room chairs. He has done this before. I just waited until he was finished with his game and then traced and rewound the wool back. He is lucky that I love him. Now after dinner as I approached my library to check out FB I knew that I would find Mindy on my comfortable desk chair. So I am writing to you once again sitting on a hard wooden chair. Haha perhaps she is looking after me and ensuring that I do not spend too much time on the computer. And as the chair that she left me to sit on is uncomfortable I rhink that I will soon go to bed. Hello Ed, it was a great match! I will have to look up what defines a foul. I didn't watch the game, I listened to it on the radio as I snuggled in bed. Couldn't sleep though as the game was far too exciting. I nearly got up to watch it at half time however I was far too cosy. Home again after working at the Op shop. As usual a lovely afternoon with the team. I was kept busy with the books. Purchased 2 CDs for the princely sum of $1 with staff discount. A Beatles 'Abby Road' and a Jimi Hendrix, 'Live At Woodstock.'  As I have most likely told you I have all of The Beatles vynals plus boot legs such as 'Live in Hamburg.' We rarely get Beatles cd's in the shop so I grabbed it. This morning when I went for my coffee the corner shop had tomato seedlings. I purchased one to plant in my veggie garden. My gardener was here this morning and dealt with most if the fallen trees. He is coming back early next week to deal with the weeds. Enjoy your day.

I know what you mean about the books. I quite like a mystery,  not necessarily murder. My girls read fantasy and that's really not me. When I studied with the OU I had to read all sorts of books including sci-fi. Not my favourite. But i did find a lot of them very interesting.
I am packing again. On Sunday we are off to Torrevieja to visit friends. We are there five days.

splashed-- It is a overcast dull wet day soI will hibernate, Yesterday it was a lovely early morning drive over to the clinic. I don't know if it was because I got someone speaking clear english,but it didn't seem to take as long(of course an ultra sound is not invasive or claustifobic. Wsd still warm and nice when I got home so fed Sagwa mFed me and then went down to see if there was tea(No starts next Wed,) and then being a nice warm day went to sit outside.Lots to watch--ambulance at the other building and 2 police cars park outside. When I went to go down I heard someone pounding on a door and hollering something-so like the coward I am I quick scooted into the elevater and went down. But as  I was sitting enjoying the day 2 police officers came out of our building,the parked their vehicle end to tail so they could converse through open windows, A good half hour later the male officer came back in the building and being nosey I peeked and yes they went to the 12th floor Don't know what was going on but my door is locked and will stay that way .Other than that everything is calm and quiet, Have a good day and stay dry,

Hello Ed, you are wise not going down the path of the Newsagents demands. Don't give anyone your bank details. Newspapers are easy enough to pick up with cash from a local shop. I actually do not bother with newspapers now. Collingwood is playing Adelaide tonight in the prelimary finals. Fingers crossed
