Morning splash--pair of lovebirds ty As you mentioned we got snow and snow and more snow--it has been snowing lightly again this morning but I don't think anything is canceled this morning---it is -15 feels like -31 and I am not going to even put my nose out. Yesterday the guy showed up at 9:30 and by about 11:00 he was all done,no cuting or sawing--just fillin the hole with a cement like stuff, put heat on it for a bit and then paint the ceiling. All done--nice a quiet so Sagwa  didn't get scard or go hide. Don't know what is on my agenda for today but  it definately is going to be inside where there is heatI hope changing your shopping day works for you and there isn't too much of an upset. Have a good day. It is definately winter outside here but as for a wonderlkand its hard to see through the snow coming down.

Hello Ed, Ty for the Mallard. The water colour is a painting of Tulips in a vase on a window shelf, curtains on the left and just the top of  a lounge chair in the foreground. I am trying to get the blue and white outside of the window as I want it. Well I have made an effort fornnext week. Mindy is now inside. Silly cat she spent the VERY hot afternoon under my car. I kept calling her in to no avail. Now I am getting ready for bed and a book. Enjoy your day.

Hello ED, TY for the Mallard. I have done a liitle bit of my water colour painting today. Haven't touched it since early December. It is too hot outside although Mungo is nagging me. Mindy jumped past my legs earlier and is out there in the heat. Sigh!

Hello ED, I guess that you are in bed now. I went for my morning coffee only to discover that the machine had broken down. No coffee. I ordered a Chai tea and then went to get my favourite brand of Peanut Butter , they didn't have it. Went outside where 2 friends were sitting and joined them. My Chai tea arrived but I not enjoy it. What else could go wrong? Then I mentioned to my friends that I would drive into Rye before the heat and to to a Deli that stocked my peanut butter and get a coffee. They both looked at me sadly, "Dianne, it is Tuesday and the shop will be closed." Oh Bother Dash and Darn as my FIL used to say rather than swearing. On a happier note, British Comedy was spoke about after I metioned my latest G. Grandson's name being Spencer. I told them that I always think of Spencer Tracey. Cheryl laughed and said she thinks of Frank Spencer in "Some Mother's Do Have Them." Michael Crawford was so funny in that. And then he went on to Phantom of The Opera and was brilliant. What a voice! My cats are whinging to go outside but I am ignoring them as the temperature climbs. I don't want to add Cat bitten by snake to my list of things that can go wrong today. I hope that you slept well.

Morning splash-- It is a winter wonderland this morning-- the sun is shining nicely and on all the new snow. It really snowed most of yesterday but I don't think it stormed too badly although all the schools are closed and school buses and taxi's not running.I guess they are having trouble getting all the streets and roads cleared of the snow. I will have the contracter here shortly to do the ceiling in the bathroom -so another job out of the way. The heat problem seems to be under control with the little heater that they gave me but I would like to see the proper amount of heat coming from my rads. Have a good wander around town and a good day.

Hello Ed, Mount Dandenong is above Dandenong the city. Like your friend I could see the mountain. Always loved car trips up into the Dandenongs as it is known. Haha you should tell your friend to visit Rye. It is only a couple of hours away and fairly soon it will be quiet once the tourists return home. Now I am REALLY going to bed. Have a great day.

Hello Ed, Happy Fairy Land Birthday. I went to the Monday Morning Coffee Club and we nearly had every one there. So many interesting conversations. Came home and pottered around for awhile then got ready to go to Tom Katz at Sorrento RSL to celebrate Australia Day and enjoy the music of the Marty Rose Band. They perform classic rock. Marty is a dead ringer for Paul McCartney. I went with Terase and bumped into 2 ladies from my Art Group. They sat with us. My SIL, Janet and friends were also there. It was quite a social afternoon. Absolutely packed and the music a bit too loud but quite enjoyable. A lady whom I think had had a few drinks encouraged me to get up and dance. As the band was playing Billy Thorpe's song, 'Most People I Know think That I'm Crazy', I couldn't resist. Her eyes widened when I started to dance. Seems that I still have the old moves. I surprised myself. A most enjoyble late afternoon and early evening. Home now and I have fed myself. Tomorrow is going to be 40 here. EEEK! I will get up early and set the sprinkler going and then walk for my morning coffee. Then I will shut the house up. Although I do have a chap coming to quote on new guttering around lunch time.
Kev's wife really seems to be reaching out to you. I guess that she is hoping that you can talk sense into him. Sad. goodnight from The Land Down Under.
