Oh dear poor Sausage! It is great that she has you to come to when things go wrong. I can picture you holding her. I hope that she can sell her cakes. I guess there is a time limit on them. I wonder if there is another avenue for her to sell the cakes? Retirement Villages come to mind. Not because of the books. Fairly sure that the people in Mum's village would love home made cakes. Just an idea. I will soon be in bed and hopefully finish reading the thriller that I am writing to Diane's son, Kevin about. Hugs.

Splashed--ssomeday hopefully she will be able to look back on these hard times and laugh but right now I am sure nothing is funny--not the nicest thing though to cancell after all the work is put in. I phoned this morning and finally my glasses are in --so tomorrow I will get myself over there and get them and then go restock Sagwa's food shelf,maybe pick up a few things if they are the right price and debating if I treat myself and get a MacDonalds meal for my lunch,Didn't do a lot today--watched the womens golf this afternoon but that was it. Beautiful sunny mid 20's day--had windows and door open and fresh air coming in. Weekend may have a fe showers but supposed to be sunny and mid 20's also. Have a good night.

Morning splash-- We have nice bright blue skies and sunshine and going into the 20's. Tea went fine but not a great number attended,although 2 ladies who don't come often showed up. It was a nice break and quite often people going by the room pop in to say hi. I am going to phone today and see whats going on with my glasses as it is now over 2 weeks since they were sent away and its really beginning to bother me without them,Surprise Montreal is in Quebec and its almost forced on them to speak french, advertising can only be in french. Off to get my day started and get something done as golf starts today and most of the Ryder cup guys are using it as a warmup.
