Morning splash--We have a bright sunny morning but showers have been and more to come. That means the dome is close ,so a different look for  L A and maybe it will make a difference. Yes the Jays have thrown a good scare in  them concidering  LA is a team of all stars that have been assembled to be winners. Don't think my nerves will take it so will just wait for the results(good time to have the game,if they win got a wholle weekend to celebrate. Today will be another quiet slow one for me and I might go downstairs tonight to see some of the kids halloween.

Hello Ed, we are at each other's gate. when I was a child we celebrated Guy Fawkes. The local community would build a huge bonfire and set off crackers. As a child we were only allowed sparklers. However I loved dancing around with them. I have most likely already to you that the following morning all the local children would go in search of unexploded fireworks. That was fun. We were usually successful and got up to so much mischief with them. Fire works are banned here now, although people can get them on line. I usually hear them exploding at the back beach on New Year's Eve. When I had dogs they were terrified by them. Mungo not bothered and Mindy hasn't been tested. Back to Halloween, I am missing the visits that I had from the children in Thornbury, Trick or Treating. It doesn't happen here as very few children live near by. Enjoy your day.

Hello ED, I did have a lot of fun dressed as a witch at the shop. Lots of customers smiled and complimented me. I was the only staff member dressed up. I didn't encounter many children, however 2 little ones spotted me near the children's books and the older one asked, somewhat wide eyed, "Are you a witch?" "Oh yes.", I replied, "But I am a Good Witch. My magic is to help children enjoy books."  They were happy with that and then they kept coming to me for a chat as their mother shopped. It was a fun afternoon. Enjoy your day.

splashed--a pair of lovebirds ty It is a dull dark day that will be a good one for me to just lay back and watch the time go by. Yes I did get down to tea yesterday--laid down for a nap and woke at quarter to 2 so was a little late but got a whole hour in and it was so nice to just be part of the land of the living. Love Sagwa but he is not the best convesational ist,although when I got back up he was stuck like glue to me and never left me until I sat down to eat my supper. My nurse is apparently coming again today but that is the only thing on the schedule.Like I said --can't take the stress of those games so just get all the low down in the morning. Yes if they win you will probably hear the noise from there as we only have one team in the whole country to cheer for. Have a good day

Hello ED, it wasn't dress up day. Anton is just quite eccentric and becoming more so the older he gets. Anton also lived near Mansfield and with Brian was involved in art. It is strange but a lot of Mansfield folk like myself seem to end up here at Rye.  Re. your toilet or loo as we call it here. I hope that you can solve it. Dinner now done and night is slowly falling. It will soon be time for me to bring the cats inside and snuggle down with a book. That is me with a book. Enjoy your day.

Hello ED, do you play Golf? Just wondering why you have 2 golf bags. I am glad that you didn't get hurt in the landslide. I am home again after helping the art group to hang the exhibition. It opens tomorrow night however I wont go to the opening as I don't drive at night and I will be exhausted as usual after working at the op shop. I will attend as a helper over the weekend. Tomorrow given that it Halloween I will go in costume as a witch to the op shop. Enjoy your day.
