Morning splash-- It is a nice bright sunny morning but only 1,so I think I will jusst look at it from the inside and be happy. The vac dressing is not on--have all the equipment but the nurse that came yesterday did not have the orders to put it on. It goes on and stays for up to 7 days and I have to try lugging it around. It could be a repeat of past things. I have been supposed to have it on several times in the past but the Lind in the area did not approve it,this time I have the equipment but the delays may mean it is too late to go on and do what it is supposed to, My nurse tomorrow so will see what happens but to tell the truth I don't care about it going on. Off to try and do a few things around here--with all my wounds I have not done much and I am afraid a lot of things just go dropped. Have a good day

Ed, I forgot to say. Mum's art Group won't gather until another 2 weeks. However I did show her how to colour in not using the point of the pencil but using the side of the lead. She loved the softer look. Also gave her another box of coloured pencils that was donated to to Op shop but could not be put out for sale due to being much used. She also gave me some of her possibly fake jewelry for the shop before I gave her the pencils. Now I am REALLY heding off to bed.

Hello ED, TY for the White Mouse. Happily again we are at each other's gate. So you have a toy room upstairs. How wonderful. How many bedrooms do you have? The  toys that I have for the Grandies are usually in the back bedroom, my Library or the garage. When they stay here the toys are in my lounge / family room and my library. I  am so sorry that Jason will not connect with his family. I will try Tracy's idea re sunglasses in the rain whilst driving. I usually avoid driving in the rain. This was an unexpected heavy down pour. However it was so heavy that I do not think that sunglasses would have helped. Anyway I am safely home. Dinner done, cats inside and I watched the new Spicks and Specks, a funny quiz show. I will soon be in bed. I will ask the Monday Morning Coffee Club if they have read 'Rules of Civility' in the morning. They all loved 'A Gentleman in Moscow.' We are not a book group, however books that we are reading often enter our chatter. Not all people  are readers. However we pass books on to each other. Night has now fallen and it is still raining outside. It will be my usual busy Monday with the Coffee Club in the morning and op shop in the afternoon. Enjoy your new day.

Hello ED, that game must has engaged little ED. Home again after visiting Mum. As usual an enjoyable visit. I had a tin of Derwent coloured pencils for her that came into the shop but could not be sold as many of them were used and quite short. Demonstrated how to colour in softly using the edge of the pencil rather than the point. Driving home using the freeway rain started teeming down. I had the wipers on high and still had trouble seeing the lanes. I hate driving in those conditiions but there was nowhere to pull over. Thankfully it only lasted about 10 minutes and cleared up. Home now and I can hear Thunder so guessing that we are in for another storm. Enjoy your day.

Good morning splash--It is 2 and raining so I guess no snow today which is a good thing because it would probably be freezing rain. I had some day yesterday--first off I stripped my bed of everything and went down and washed everything(except the pillows) I all went well and it was not busy so I was able to use 3 dryers(1 each for each of the quilts and then one for the rest of the stuff. All went well then back upstairs and try to make the bed with a cat in the middle.finally got it done and so feed him then get myself some lunch and try and finish the gardens. Then the parade of equipment and medical supplies started. By suppertime I had 5 boxes piled in my living room. In the middle of all that Sagwa's groomer came --so I am safe from the claws again. "Vac dressing" is a machine that is put on my leg with a tube with holes in it over the surgery/wound on my thigh. It has a low vaccuum and plugs in,thus sucking the excess fluid out of my leg. It speeds healing and is on most likely for about 5-7 days. It does have a power source that I have to lug around if I want to move that apparently they say is an over the shouldar bag to carry it. We shall see if the bother is worth it. Off to get busy and get the garbage down this morning then will see about some thought of meals and I guess just carry on with my day. I watched the golf from Burmuda and Hadwin was leading--I think it is a lot of the 25 from the Korn Ferry tour that moved up to PGA and are trying to gain a few points before the big guns return so they can keep their card, Have a good day and I hope you can retrieve the puzzle(maybe seen as they know you explain how the error occured and maybe you can just have it back.

Hello Ed, we are once again at each other's gate. What do you have on your toast?  I like Vegemite and sometimes marmalade or peanut butter. Dinner now done. Leftovers reheated in the microwave that Shannon would not approve of. My neighbour next door, who is building the fence that I really do not want helped me to trim my apricot tree this afternoon. It is on the fence line. He even took the huge cuttings into his garden to get rid of so that I didn't have to. Night is falling now and I will soon be in bed. Enjoy your day.

Hello Ed, TY for the White mouse. Good grief your shift work must have been terrible. I cannot imagine what it would have been like. However I guess that is what you had to do to
earn a living. It has been a lovely Spring day here and I have been quite busy gardening and washing. I have a small air fryer and sometimes use it. My son Shannon when he used it loved it  as he and his wife do not use a Microwave. I should use it more as it would most likely keep my kitchen cleaner. I generally cook on the stove top. I hope that Tracey is having a better day. I am sure that she will be exhausted after baking cakes and catering for a funeral.  Give her a hug from me even though shez doesn't know me.
