Hello Ed, yes just boiling and egg it a good idea! No explosions unless you forget it! I have been to Nashville but not as a tourist. It was with The Little River Band. Overnight stay. Wednesday art group today although I didn't really do much except enjoy chatting. Then popped into a shop in Sorento and found a grease guard for my frying pan. $3. Perfect as the other day after cleaning my stove top I cooked last night's dinner and oil splattered everywhere. Oh and that dinner is not complicated. I buy the rissoles from the corner shop and fry them in olive oil, the only oil I use. Potato / garlic  mash easy as I buy it from the superket already prepared. Then I chop mushrooms and tomatos and add to the pan after the rissoles are cooked. Grinded salt and pepper as well. Small fresh spinach leaves on the pIate and I top it off with an Italian Glaze! Perfecto! 20 minutes tops to make! The secret is the rissoles that are made locally! And that will be my dinner again tonight as I always make 2 servings. TTFN

Hello Ed, TY for the mouse. My dinner was rissoles containing beetroot, mashed potato, fried mushies and tomato with spinach salad. A meal that I always enjoy and I have made enough for tomorrow night. I plan to go to Art group tomorrow. I did a bit more sorting today and have a large bag filled with mostly stuffed toys and some of my clothes to take to the Oppie on Friday. I will soon be in bed to snuggle and do some more reading. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Hello Ed, enjoy your trip to the supermarket. I haven't read what Trump said about Harry and Meghan, but I am sure it was insane and worthy of ignoring. I do worry about the USA with a CRAZY man in charge and the impact on the rest of the world. However I will not go on about it. Night has fallen here, the cats are inside, the heating is now on as it is so cold. And I will soon start preparing dinner. Ta ta for now.

Hello Ed, TY for the Lovebirds. That is a good idea about Tom being a political reporter. Perhaps he could do a course in Journalism? Try not to be too sad about him as people on the spectrum often are highly intelligent. They just need to find their niche. Re. Charlie's speech in Washington, it was excellent! He actually spoke against everything that Trump stands for by speaking about how it is the UK. The mindless Republicans kept standing up, clapping and cheering after almost every sentence. They didn't get that he was actually putting them down. It was hilarious! Every time they stood and cheered I could see that Charles was quietly amused. And then later when Charles and  Camilla were shaking hands with onlookers, Trump walked in front of them and started shaking hands with everyone. Charles stepped with dignity away and Camilla followed him. It reminded me of a video of Trump with Queen Elizabeth when he kept walking in front of her during his visit to the UK. You should try and see the video of King Charles' visit to Washington and his speach. It was the moment when I decided that he really is a King. Enjoy your new day!

Morning splash-- chaffinch ty It is a sunny start to the week here and 11 going to I have no clue. I think Kevin has turned into a guide now and probably a caller as he seems to have the knack for using the turkey calls(at least the turkeys keep answering him and usually moving in his direction.)I think what someone needs to start for you is a puzzle exchange(you bring 2 puzzles and take one home, that way at least they don't pile up on you.We used to have a few of that type book stores around but I guess there wasn't enough money in it. Every one want to get rich quick--so now the used books(even in the charity stores) are not far off the original price brand new.But our book shelves downstars seem to do well(they just took 4 boxes of book to the secondhand store sonow I wait for some new ones to appear as I had read everything that interested me. Have a good day!!

Hello Ed, that is really SAD about Tom. He is obviously quite intelligent and the Oppie was most likely not the best place for him. Most volunteers are caring however, not really informed about dealing with people on the Spectrum. I hope that he can find something that he really wants to do. My mind is racing thinking about it but not coming up with possible solutions as I do not know Tom. The only thing that keeps coming into my mind is  his study of politics. That must be his interest. Perhaps further study? People on the Spectrum are usually highly intelligent however they have problems dealing with the emotional / social, even mundane side of life. I am not surprised that Tom had a melt down at the Oppie. Well you can see that I am thinking about Tom. On a lighter note, re. Harry and Meghan. They tried it here in Australia. It does seem that Meghan is trying to cash in on Royal favours to promote whatever it is she is promoting. Hopefully the UK refuses. And speaking about the Royal family I was impressed by Charles' speach in the USA. Trump didn't understand it. No surprises there! Now I must really go to bed  and get into that book again. May the 4th be with you!
