Morning splaash--golden dragon ty It is snowing again--when I looked out the window this morning I could not see anything  but white flakes coming down. It looks pretty but I would rather not have it just yet. I have a pot simmering on the stove with a chicken thigh i it so hopefully by supper time I have a pot of cream of chicken soup(it will probably do a few days)I haven't got any further that to so rt of look to see what it in each box or bag here in the pile in the corner but I guess maybe I should try to get some of it sorted and out of the way. Hello Ed, TY for the Golden Dragon. I am up later than usual as I was captivated my a show on our ABC about a competition re. portrait artists. Re. Dad, no I never saw him boxing. Only photos. One of his rewards was a musical pagoda that you could place cigarettes in and they all popped up at different times. Mum and Dad smoked in those days so I had plenty of cigarettes to put into it. Totally facinated me as a child. It had a wind up mechanism like a music box.  I have forgotten the tune that it played and not sure what happened to it. It does seem strange now that a trophy awarded for sport encouraged smoking. I will soon be in bed as it is now well past my bedtime. Once again it is raining here. Have a great day.

Field mouse and a seed ty

Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. My Dad was a Champion Bantam Weight Boxer in the Australian Navy when her served in New Guinea after WW2. He was actually chosen for the Australian Olympic team but as luck would have it he got Tonsilitis when he returned to Melbourne. I didn't find the Advent Candle setting so I guess that I tossed it. Oh well easy enough to create a new one. I think that little Jesse will enjoy seeing it. Stay safe putting up your lights and enjoy your new day.
