Hello Ed, Rae is actually a woman. I guess that her name is confusing. I have had dinner of a serving of my frozen home made Pea and Ham soup with a few pieces of toasted garlic bread. Always handy after working at the Oppie and quite tasty. Now I will soon be in bed to continue reading 'Wild Dark Shore.' I am gripped by the book. Facinated by the idea of researchers/ scientists staying on a remote island for months at a time to protect seeds for the world. Well it is a novel. Hello Ed, it sounds like you and Sandra had a good day! And like you I also had a great day. When I arrived at the Oppie this afternoon my eyes fell immediately on a painting of a cat on my sorting desk. Last Wednesday I watched that cat being painted at the art group. I kepts admiring it as it looked a lot like Mindy. Certainly had her eyes with the fierce glare and her colouring, although her face doesn't have as much white. I knew that the artist, Rae, was working at the oppie this afternoon and yes she had gifted it to me. It is about 20 cm. square. Acryllic paint. Last year at the Alice in Wonderland Art Show I purchased Rae's head shot of the White Rabbit. Now I have 2 of her paintings. TTFN

Morning splash-- The sun is shining  nicely but it is still quite cool(cold in fact as once again frost warnings last night. You getting to be quite  the nice little housewife--but knowing how to feed yourself is very important.. Tea was mostly a lot of instructions-- we have a census to do--it is online this time and I figured,government it will be confusing. But actually long as you followed the instructions it was easy.All done so that is out of the way,have to wait for Kevin(or one of my computer whizs) Have to make and account with the government for the Dental plan---we would get free dental that way -but as I said dealing with government id not easy. Hello Ed, TY for the Mallard. When I have family and friends here we always sit at the Dining table. When it it is just me I have my dinner in front of the TV generally watching a comedy show. Once the TV show and dinner is over I usually go out onto the verandah or into my library to do what I am doing now. I am in the Library now as it is too cold outside. The cats have just joined me and Mindy is doing her low growl as she wants to go out. Not going to happen. Good grief after nearly 2 years of living with me you would think that she gets my rules. Mungo is sitting near me watching her and then looking up at me when I growl at Mindy. My crazy life with cats!

Hello Ed, TY for the Peace Dove. I have wrapped all gifts and they are ready to post tomorrow. Re Craig Silvey he confessed to child exploitation. GRRRRR!!!! I didn't do the deep dive so not really understanding it all. I have been the door person for my cats today. They want to go out and shortly after want to back inside again. It hailed here early this morning and has been raining on and off all day. And the wind coming off the sea has been strong. I drove around the corner for my morning coffee. Given that I drove I also purchased a big  packet of toilet paper and a bottle of organic milk. Haha the toilet paper is made by a company 'Who Gives A Crap.' Packaging and all made from recycled paper and the company donates 50% of the profits to help poorer countries with santitation. Not many people know that. Enjoy your new day.

Hello Ed, does your sister have Gluacoma? Mum does and she also had eye injections until a few months ago when the eye doctor told her that she wasn't giving her any more as they were no longer helping. In other words, Mum will eventually go blind. We had hail here early this morning and today is the coldest day so far this year. I went to Rosebud this morning to purhase birthday presents for 2 young Grandsons and 1 Great Grandson. So now I have to wrap them and take to the P.O. tomorrow. Enjoy your day!

Your egg had some get up and go in it--don't think I want to cat eggs firsst thing in the morning so I won't try that and will stick with the boling water.Itts funny but both Ryley and Jessica have boyfriend.girl friends in the Oshawa area. Jess goes down by train every Fri and comes back Sunday.  A few things to get done today before going to tea,If I don't get it done before I don't do anything  when I come back up. Hello Ed, I hope that little Sylvie is ok! Good grief her eye! Re.Craig Sylvie (SP?) I loved his book Jasper Jones. I had it in the school library. I guess that all of his books are being withdrawn from Libaries now and rightfully so given that he has admitted to all charges. In the mean time I did a bit more clearing in my garage. I have put out a camping fridge, that was not mine, it is Sarah's, on the nature strip for possible collection. And I have a lawn mower that is also Sarah's and I have constantly asked them to take it away however they never do. When it is not raining it will also be out for free. Now that I have got that off my chest I will go and reheat my dinner. Sorry.
