Hello Ed, TY for the White Mouse. It seems Michael McIntyre is quite popular here so there are not any problems with the language. I think that I have told you that people often ask me what part of England do I come from. I always answer 'Dandenong.'  I am reading, "The Good People.' by Hannah Kent. It is set in Ireland in a village. It is not one of her funny books. It is quite dark. I am not sure that I will stick with it. I need to find another funny book. Enjoy your trip to town.

Hello ED, TY for the Golden Dragon. Only 2 of the Coffee Club members turned up this morning. The wind was dreadful so we jumped ship. The shop only has seating outside. The Grand Final is next Saturday afternoon. One crazy thing the AFL have arranged is the American Rapper Snoop Dog for the Grand Final entertainment. Most people are unhappy with that. I wouldn't be surprised if he got booed. Enjoy your day.

I put my t-shirts and shorts on my top shelf and moved my jumpers down. That's the extent of my winter wardrobe. 😆.  Makes me laugh when my friends get their winter wardrobe out from the loft. I am not really a clothes person.

Morning splash--Sun is shining ,it is 12 and the end of summer. Iwas all ready to watch the womans golf yesterday but was an unplayable course unless you had water wing and hip waders on and I doubt if you could have found your ball as basicly the course was flooded as they were really having rain. The work crew up at the bush apparently got everything done but really tired themselves out.--deer hunting is a very well exercised sport for these guys but they think all is ready to go.A few things to do today and then I get the rest of the day off(if Sagwa allowa it) Have a good Sunday.

I have also told Jennifer to watch it.

Hello ED, TY for the mouse. I googled Michael MacIntyre, Silent Letter Day and l LOVED IT. In fact I have now shared it on my FB page. As a primary school teacher trying to teach spelling it really made me laugh. Even the word 'laugh' has silent letters that do not make sense. Should be 'larf'. No wonder people (peepl) say that English (Inglish) is a difficult language to learn (lern). TY for sharing  with me.

Hello ED, well, it was an exciting game even if we lost. I am having a quieter day today. I went to tthe supermarket to buy a few things and the car next to me was loading equipment into their boot. As I limped past they had emptied their loading trolley, not a supermarket one, and I quipped, "I could us a lift on that to get into the store." The young man, who was middle eastern, took me seriously and offered to help me out. He was actually going to give me a lift on the trolley! I smiled and thanked him saying that it was just a joke. How kind of him. As I entered the shop I was still smiling at the imagined image of me being wheeled in on the trolley. Enjoy your day.
