Hi Cheryl, Rains/flooding are serious and I'm grateful I don't live in a flood zone here with all the hurricane/tropical storms we get.  My street will get flood but it goes down once it stops.  Builders will build houses on swamp land.  Hope your cat is doing better and  our next rain will be tonight after 8pm.  Stay safe..   🥰🙏🏻

It's cooler here today and managed to get into the garden. We are due cooler temperatures this week.

Hello there Westside!  We have been busy over here on the East side!  We have had some wonderful late night thunder storms which is very welcome.  Gardens are doing great and our raspberries are abundant and some are starting to ripen!  In about a week we'll be picking every day for about 2 weeks then they are done!

Morning Cheryl.. Thanks for all the updates now I can place where you are.  I love Watermelons and Cantalopes in summer. I am used to the family being scattered across the world and with the tech we have today it is easy to have a family Zom chat or just a facetime with each one. I just wish it had been available when my Mother was alive as she would have loved it. I feel like the U/N at times here. Chuckle One Daughter lives only half an hour drive from me and helps with my shopping and meals.   Sue lives in the UK.. One son

From your note it seems as though Midnight  is improving (fingers crossed).
The clematis are scented, but as they are at the back of the flower bed it is difficult to get to them. Also the perfume of the climbing roses fills the garden so hard to catch the scent of the clematis'
Did I tell you that I have planted some night scented stocks?  Haven't had them in years.
The water lillies are doing well and hoping to get flowers this year.
Your dinner sound delicious, I made do with an omelette, and made bbq pork for Col when he came in from the Cricket.
Thank you for the offer of planting for llamas, but I am just letting my garden do its own thing, just repairing nests as needed.
