Yeah, COVID played havoc with a lot of people.  One daughter & her husband sold their house summer before & moved into an apartment.  My s-i-l has MS & worked as an electrician.  Of course COVID put a stop to all that kind of work.  They had only planned on being in the apartment about 6 months.  But if they had bought a house just before COVID, they would have lost it. 
I hope you are happy in your home in Idaho. :)
