Hello my lovely friend, it is a rotten situation with your savings,  the thing being, once retired there is little way that you can recoup, if you were working it would be a different situation.
Thank you for your good wishes for our new gt.granddaughter.  We are trying to work out when  we can go down there,  Clare has said that she will stay here and work from 'home', so that we don't have to worry about Boz.  Col has gone in today to have his first cataract removed and fixed, so we will have to see when the next op is likely to be. Hopefully, we will be able to make arrangemnts once we know.
