Hello, Cheryl.  It's funny how families end up with a month that is loaded with events.  In addition to the Sept birthdays, October is very busy: my mom's birthday (she has since passed), my anniversary, my sister's anniversary, her hubby's birthday (he passed last year), my daughter's anniversary & her hubby's birthday!  Today is a miserable drizzly day.  I had thought about going to Ash Wednesday services at noon, but decided I didn't want to drive in the drizzle.  I haven't really been back to church in 6 yrs.  I tried to go to Ash Wednesday services about 2 yrs ago & I had a panic attack when I saw all the cars in the parking lot!  I wasn't expecting such a big crowd at noon.
