okay so this is a glitch, at least IMO: I had normally paid-for SF (less than 2 hours old) on one platter and then activated the free SF. The game would not let me renew the SF even though I paid for the food I was intending to replace. Sometimes, the game is a wee bit harsh in its rules. Like last month when I had to use a specific zodiac for a pot when the zodiac was removed by 21st of that month, and there was no alternative. I sent the team a note and never got even a response.
