Hi Sue, gosh what a morning! There was a mini thunderstorm early on so I put my waterproofs on, big mistake, I was melting half an hour later! Happy with my haircut and a good natter, ran a couple of errands before seeing Dad and that's me done for the day. Thankfully it's getting cooler from tomorrow, I couldn't face a long drive in this heat! It's fallen on Dad to take D for a walk every day until she's strong enough, that's how his neck got burnt, he's not very impressed and neither am I! He was supposed to be getting a break once she left the hospital but the kids/grandkids have stopped helping, sigh. I'm very pleased that you're keeping your feet up and leaving the garden for now. I bet poor Maggie isn't enjoying this heat either. We see a massive dog at the park with the thickest coat I've ever seen, must be a right job trying to keep him cool, it probably weighs a ton! I'm going to put my fan on now and maybe try to nap, not been getting much sleep lately. Enjoy your day and keep your promise, chilling only! Lots of love Xxxxxxxxxx

Good evening Sue I hope you have had a good day, so glad you had a good time in Wales despite the wet weather.  I bet Maggie had a great time on the beach chasing seagulls. We have had some gorgeous weather the past few days though it was extremely hot at times.  Today has been more pleasant, 26C but there was a breeze blowing. I am hoping for a better night's sleep this evening as it is cooler.  Pippin enjoyed a walk this morning the first time for a few days, Sunday we walked in the evening and Monday we skipped a walk as it was 33C here.  I went to Tesco this morning for a few bits and pieces and also flowers for arranging in the morning.  I bet Maggie has been in the garden on her table, I'm sure she missed it.  Sleep well and have a good Thursday.
