Hi Dee, saw the optician today. My right eye isn’t ready to be done, so I have to get new glasses. They are going to give me varifocals but because there is a vast difference between my two eyes they might not work and I will see double. If that happens I will then have to get a pair for reading and a pair for distance, but they would be able to refer me to get the other eye done as my vision is being affected. I have to try glasses before they can put me forward. What a palaver, it’s cost me £530 today because my prescription is so complicated. The Baltic cruise is really good, it’s one of John’s favourites, all interesting places to see, which ship are you going on? It’s lovely that you are feeling so much better, it gets you down not being well. Even my sight is getting me down, and that’s nothing compared what you’ve been through xx
