Winter Droplets
Remember on St Patrick's Day Everyone is Irish, Except Scots we're always Scottish...Aye
Good Mornin Darlin, Can you believe it's mid month already, mind blowing...bitter cold here at 0730 but the promises of 60 later has me heading out back to thatch lawn, I saw a post about creating permanent ground nesting areas, I have a ton of wee birds that only eat from the ground & they nest close to it as well, simple really, layers of wood pieces, tree branches and organic matter, leaves, thatched grass, leftover flowers stalks, etc...I have 2 spots in the park area that would serve them well, just need the logs have everything else, in fact I started areas I didn't know would be perfect for this last October, my layers have begun.
Was happy to hear you got garden time, you are correct, I feel so much more alive when I'm gardening, if it really gets to 60, I'll be out grounding myself, my lawn is really making a come back quickly, fertilizer next week & toes crossed by April Fools 2026 1st mow......
I'm off to finish dressing & clearing then it's 3 layers to get through the morning walk...oh lord I can't wait for consistent warmer weather
