I totally agree with the number seven being lucky. My wonderful grandson in law was born 7-7-78 and strangely enough, most of the men in my family have the number seven somewhere in their birthdate.
I remember the date of my graduation from high school was on
6-6-66. I never even thought about it until I pulled out my old graduation invitations.
It’s funny how as you get older, you start thinking about little things you really never thought of much that are coincidental, funny or strange. So much so that I have started writing these things down so my children will be able to have these stories before I forget them. Not counting on forgetting them anytime soon, but I find writing very fulfilling. Isn’t it sad that kids now don’t write long-hand letters and abbreviate everything? I don’t think they even teach cursive in schools anymore. I hope I’m wrong most of my grandkids are being homeschooled for different reasons. They sure have a good system for homeschooling now and I think in some cases the kids are better off. Not always but it’s good to have that alternative.
