Very long but interesting shift at the Cathedral today

A friend is the greatest gift we can have and one which we take least thought to acquire

Continuing to pray  for all areas where there is conflict, injustice, hatred, pain. Praying for there to be peace, tolerance, hope, and unity

Good evening Dorothy and I hope you have had a lovely day. It has been fine here, but I haven't been out for a walk as I am waiting for a parcel to come. Didn't come here today, so another day in tomorrow. But will have to go out quickly for some bread and milk. Can guarantee it will come whilst I slip out. I made a start on writing out my cards, but found it quite distressing just putting my name on them. My very best wishes and love and hugs. xx

A really miserable Wednesday.

Had a diabetic eye test this afternoon, I’m pre diabetic and not on any medication, I still go once a year for a checkup and of course cataracts have got worse although I don’t need an op at the moment.  My daughter’s 52 and had both eyes done at the same time 3years ago which is unusual, but she’s fine.
