Sunday splashes 🌻🌻 hi Judi, yes the heat has been terrible and the humidity makes it feel even hotter. my least favorite weather. I may not get out again till winter. ha. my flowers don't look very good either. I planted them on the west side of the house and afternoon sun is just too hot. I water every day. plus the soil is sandy and dries out fast. I mixed in some garden soil, but didn't help much. I planted several giant sunflowers and they only got a couple of feet tall and bloomed. the flowers are big but not giant like they usually are. going to try to walk the dog at 730 before it heats up so much. hope your day is good. hugs. stay cool.
