Sometimes I feel like you, no Christmas spirit especially after my crossed over in 2016 & then my dad in 2018, this year is another year but I'm going to try & snap out of it for my grand children.
As for Christmas cards I don't bother either, the stamps are getting to costly so I think to myself I gather buy gifts, however I will give the Christmas cards when I put a little extra for the grand children & put some in my neighbors mail box.
When everyone shows up I snap out of it knowing that it's not only for everyone because also it's was the birth of Jesus Christmas.
I went for 2 walks one at 8:30, I was going to go after wards but being I had to get dressed to take the garbage out to the road I've said might as well go which was at 12:59PM when I did.
Hope you'll change your mind in going shopping a bit of fresh air does help, then again with the pain that your in maybe not because I wouldn't want you to be in more pain.
