We have and had screens when they were little too. But, our bathroom has a skylight and one of them opened it since it was summer and did not make sure screen was in . So that's how it got in

Kelley that same son also told us during the night that there was an Eagle flying around his room . It was pitch black and he was on the top Bunk bed.  We did not listen.  Finally , he was really yelling so I went in to see what it was and , well it was not an Eagle.  But there was a bat flying around his room LOL. It came in throw the skylight in the bathroom and found it's way to the boys room LMAO

And , the sun is a natural bleach will brighten everything. Once, my son got a shower and got dressed, and started screaming, there is a bee in my underwear, and running around the house LOL.  After that I never hung the undies out again lol
