I moved out here in 1977 with my folks when I was in high school.  My dad got a job with Boeing. I fell in love with the area.  Back then the weather was a lot more rainy and gray.  It made my stepmom really depressed so when my stepsister graduated from high school they all moved back to Ohio which is where I’m from originally.  But I’ve been out here so long I consider myself a Seattle native.  We moved up here from Florida.  My brother was in high school at the time so he stayed there.  He still lives there which probably explains at least part of his world view.  I have no idea why my stepsister who went to high school in Bellevue, in a relatively blue area and a woman,  I have no idea where her support for orange man comes from.
