Hi Cheryl, good evening. Hope your day was great. Another wet day here. Grandkid here for overnight. lots of fun and laughter. Mostly depends on Winter on amount of wood needed. That's why I didn't order of 8 feet wood this year. 6 in woodshed and another 6 being on the seasoned on the old sewer bed. So we only burn 3 or 4 cords , I be getting to much wood overstock. We use a NewMac 2 EPA woodstove. It nice heat but can be dirty  with backdrafts. With health problem I looking for other options. This year I got the attic redone with over 3 feet of blown in insulation and installed 2 mini splits and maybe in year or 2 move towards a pellet stove. Please take care, be well. Thank you for your kind condolence for my mother. She was 86. Yes lots of stuff to do, paperwork. working on last part on dividing the land between me and my brother

Still getting a few showers and very grey skies, but the pond has water, so won't worry about my Koi as much, we have all our downspouts feeding the pond, the underground springs have dried up this summer, so at least we have a backup  ha! No I don't mulch my flower beds, I usually just cut everything back to about 2 inches until spring, then I'll do a deep cleanup and add more plants if I want! Off to feed the mini's, they don't like the rain, but they can stand in the barn  haha! Have a good evening :)
